Never used Napster. I don’t think I even had a PC back then. For sure, I didn't have the internet! Winmx was unbearable: it was so slow that after a week hooked up with a 56K to download a song at 128 bitrate, you’d say screw it and just go buy the album. :)

But then, excuse me, didn’t you give a 4 to the new Lady Gaga?! (maybe I’m confusing you with another reviewer) And now it’s discount orange soda?

Systematically, my journey as a former metalhead, bare and oiled, is crossed by one or more radio tracks that I end up listening to on loop for a week. Her Chasing Pavements was one of those. As for whether it’s everything you say, I wouldn’t know. Moreover, Starbly's comments would suggest it’s a bit of a dud. In short: Darius, you write really well, but are you training to become the new Il Paolo?! :)

No, no. The guy is still alive. He just keeps mumbling about a black monolith and a computer that plays chess.

By the way: for the greetings, they played a hyper-terrone reggaeton song that went something like this: "SHOOTA ULA-LAA BACHOO BACHOO ULA-LAA BEKCS!!! BECKS!!!" It stuck in my head like moss. Does anyone know it?! I found out it's also a hit on yahoo.answers: titolo canzone brasiliana? | Yahoo Answers vorrei sapere il titolo di una canzone brasiliana credo che fà"besa besa che calor che calor..." grazie ;-) | Yahoo Answers

Alas. Unfortunately, it’s not as one might think. I discovered, much to my dismay, that it is considered rude to pass gas in the theater. So I had to hold it in for the entire second act. That is the picture of the guy who went into the bathroom after me…

By the way: lately it seems to me that a bunch of animated movies are coming out digitally, but it seems like all of them are going pretty much unnoticed. The first ones that come to mind are Paulie (the one with the parrot in Rio), the other one, whose title I can't remember, with the chameleon voiced by Johnny Depp, the one with the alien with the big head... Instead, I would be curious to see "Despicable Me."

The only movie that made me appreciate 3D glasses (to this day, a total piece of crap, good for pretty much nothing but inflating the ticket price): after the first 10 minutes, I had tears streaming down my face like a cow after milking. I'm always surprised to find so many positive comments about Ratatouille... to me, it felt like a complete bore. I couldn't sit still in the cinema seat. Another one I found pretty dull was the highly praised The Incredibles. Both seemed excessively stretched out and often boring to me. Wall-E and this one (especially), on the other hand, felt like real gems: the brilliance, in my opinion, lies in the measure, in the balance with which each component (the ironic, the melodramatic, the comedic...) is dosed so that none prevails over the others.

Good review. About the proposal: they seem interesting, but by now I've learned to trust Uncle Pompe! :) By the way, I get really confused with all these groups that are called Bleck something...

No, no. I’m bowing out: last night I attended a 3-hour musical featuring hip hop, Latin American, and reggaeton beats... with a grand finale dedicated to "Urlando contro il cielo" by Ligabue (?!?!??!?!?!?!). I just don’t have the psycho-physical energy to go on...
