THE REVIEW

Close your eyes, another dimension opens up.

An army of stars moves the soul ("Perth"), sending it into ecstasy ("Minnesota WI"), how good it feels on this spring evening, a satisfied smile accompanies the journey.

The gentle notes of an acoustic guitar ("Holocene") intoxicate the room, a bath of soft and subdued emotions...everything I desired. Thoughts drift away, following the musical course, as if life were perfect and the sun shone incessantly. Enchantment and admiration.

I think back to the best Christmas I ever spent: it's snowing and my heart burns with passion, but it's only a moment. The soft spring evenings reappear ("Towers"), full of smiles and joy, quietness and optimism.

I like where I am, the dimension conceived by Bon Iver now gives me tenderness and pushes me further... I fantasize about the future: I cradle my child with "Wah", I see myself in their eyes, they fall asleep in my arms. What an emotion it must be.

It doesn't seem real to me to listen to such beauty ("Calgary"), with disarming simplicity, this music arrives and fills the heart, warming it like never before ("Beth/Rest"). Marvelous.

Now open your eyes, my dreamy journey has come to an end, yours is just waiting to be lived.

Justin is strong, he says "I will never break" and he does it with the immense sweetness and refinement of his falsetto.

"Holocene" fully expresses man’s condition as so small compared to the grandeur of nature and yet, being part of that nature, unable to grasp its wonder.
