The nice thing about you is that I don't even have to make the effort to ask you to send it over, because you’re already incredibly prolific. You have more quality & quantity than a gangbang with Sasha Grey. I've never read anything by Queneau... I will.

I come from a hypothetical period so ungrammatical that it would make even Montessori want to change professions. Luckily, there are pages like yours that reconcile me with humanity and syntax. Well done, young man.

"If Zappa had done something like that, he would have been called a genius." That may be enough.

Holy shit, what a bunch of nerds!! We are living in dark times... just a few years ago, the gods of metal would have never allowed the rhythm guitarist of a death band to wear glasses. He probably would have ripped out his own corneas at the first hint of astigmatism...
I Cani Il Sorprendente Album d'Esordio De I Cani

I discovered them last night while coming back from the pizzeria. I'm speaking after listening to the album just once, so I might change my mind (if I even feel like listening to it again...): from a purely technical-musical standpoint, it's awfully monotonous, it sounds like the exact same song repeated ten times. The lyrics, then, seem like a collection of polaroids taken by someone in their third year of architecture, with a detached-romantic yet somewhat cynical, somewhat bored, somewhat indie snob perspective: simple words, never excessive vulgarity like you’d find in a prime-time variety show, a few quotes here and there to suggest that they're not ignorant (Wes Anderson, the Kinks, Wallace). It's stuff like "I hang out in the same places and do the same things as the people I loathe the most on this planet, but I'm different from them." Which, when put like that, sounds like a critique, but not necessarily. I think it depends a bit on what you want from this album: if you're looking for something fun to listen to and hum along to while heading to the beach, it works quite well. But if you want to give it some intellectual singer-songwriter aura, I think we're in trouble. In my opinion, it's mainly the album of someone who understands how to survive in today's music industry.

Actually, no! Am I wrong or are you the one who likes horror movies with guts and gore?!? Well, I always find them harder to watch... I think you're feeding me some twists on a few things, dear. :)
