Atari Teenage Riot Burn, Berlin, Burn!

It's not just about "counting the words," even though that is indeed an objective fact (and it tells us that the review is too long). The point is, as I explained some time ago in another comment, that reading on a screen is different from reading on paper: it's more tiring, slower. Reading on the internet is even more specific. Aside from users who already know you, who will either read your review because they appreciate you or skip it entirely because they don't like you, anyone who stumbles upon this page via Google will most likely read the first line ("I won't be brief": a terrible opening to entice reading), then scroll to the end ("let's see how not brief it has been," they might say), possibly reading the bold parts (which, however, might also be too long – but I think this is the "fault" of whoever edited the review). After that, they will most likely go to the next link found by Google (and you will have lost a potential reader). Managing to keep it concise is essential if you want someone to read you. (Some tips: www.mestierediscrivere.com, www.immaginaria.net). Personally, I can tell you this: the review is certainly nice but I'm sorry, I don't have the time or desire to read it all (and I am a power user, not a casual one).

Instead, you should try to be brief. If you have a lot to say, that's perfectly fine, but you could use "insights," which are there specifically for that purpose.

I can’t stop listening to it since this summer. This album is simply beautiful, pure poetry. Well done, Moz, damn!

I'm listening to "Nocturama" after a while... I still like it, I find it not "weak" at all. On the other hand, this double... I don't know, I can't fall in love with it.
Jackson Browne Late For The Sky

Mom, what a wave of nostalgia... I was a huge fan of Jackson Browne, can you believe I even stole (yes, stole) the vinyl of "Running On Empty" at the market in Hamburg? It was 1981, and I was so yyyoung...

I told you not to bother with this little fascist. Hal and easycure, really, but why even respond? Come on, enough, it feels like one of those political talk shows made for the right... you can pull out every possible argument, and they just scream, looking right into the camera (as the little master taught them). There's no possibility for dialogue, there really isn’t; it’s pointless. The only positive thing is that this guy confirms with every comment every stereotype and every prejudice we have about the "culture" of the Italian right: this way, we can think all the worst without feeling guilty, knowing that - unfortunately - it’s all true.

Anyway, lovi: it happens that thousands of people might read you (you’re on the internet)... don’t you think it’s a good idea to take a quick look before clicking "send"? You messed up the title in a hilariously funny way (5 stars for the title), and that’s fine, but there are some little things you could have checked in a dictionary ("autocelebratismo," "da per tutto," "cozzaglia," "sotteranei," "alcun scrupolo"...). You say you’re 18, and we don’t know your educational background. But, come on, something written like this would be insufficient even for middle school! Not that we expect much, but...

Yes, really beautiful the typo. The chili-con-carne post-coital is a custom that until today was unknown to me. Ah, the Mexicans...

Guess what? Well, Justice, just so you know, I’m on the committee that decides whether to send you to the States or not. Ahem, ahem... do you remember that the AFS Rule is not to break the rules of the host country? If you’re drunk, I think... ;-)
