Cleo, I'm proud that someone follows my suggestions. Listen closely to those records; they are full of musical anticipations of contemporary music. As for this review, it might be a bit too dry, but it's a personal interpretation of an album, and that's enough for me. The fact that it's not stereotypical appeals to me. I add, not polemically, that one can comment on the review, but the purpose of the comment, in my view, is to add-modify-reduce, etc., the notions ABOUT THE ALBUM. If the primary goal of the comment is to belittle-elevate the reviewer, then it shifts the focus toward a target that I have misunderstood. Music is my goal. In any case, I care little about it. I've always said it and I reiterate that I would abolish grades for reviews. Mr_iko loves you and always cares for you very much. Especially Cleo, who buys great records in defiance of my detractors!!! :-))

Well, the review is long, but in the age of global information, the more information you have, the better, right? I really like the album; I had lost track of it, and now I’m dusting it off and happily listening to it again. Busy little dwarfs, please open us a section for "evergreens," please!

Well, yes, it's obvious... the chapel is a given, the sax is that tenor one.

Mr_iko aligns with the content of the review. He emphasizes the importance of knowing a great instrumentalist and composer. However, he suggests not to limit oneself to the compilation, which may at best represent a starting point (but certainly not an endpoint) and to make an effort to rediscover the gems that the great Jaco, tragically deceased due to an encounter with an unruly bouncer, has given us throughout his career (both as a solo artist—unmissable the Live in NEW YORK and Live in ITALY—and with the Report—listening to the version of blackbird sends shivers down my spine—and with Joni Mitchell, etc.).

Mr_Iko? someone who has read many books, who has his own ideas and the broad shoulders to be harshly criticized every time he expresses a judgment. If NOT being hypocritical and sycophantic is a sin, then I’m destined for hell. Mr_Iko? an old man who gets off on his records (what’s wrong with getting really passionate about a record, anyway?). Mr_Iko? a fascist because he distinguishes between the sensitivity of heterosexuals and that of homosexuals. Mr_Iko? someone to tell to get lost whenever you feel like it… Well, there’s no more respect for the elderly of 28 years….

it's not true, little and useless chinaski: if the record is beautiful we say it's beautiful, if it's veeery beautiful we say it's very beautiful, if it's deplorable (like your latest outbursts) we clearly say it's debatable. unfortunately, style and linguistic propriety are not for everyone. certainly not for you. little, naive, and brazen patron.

Anyway, it’s so much fun, this debate! I’m pissing myself laughing! On one side, the ones with brain functions, on the other side, the brain-damaged...
