Yes, Folle said it, to be fair. I, as a mediocre insolent and arrogant scribbler, did nothing but report it and take the credit for it... ;-)

You are seriously mistaken: I didn't ask myself "why 4 stars and not 5?", but I found myself wondering in disbelief "why 4 stars and not ONE?!!!" Are you crazy? 4 stars for this junk? And you keep insisting with your internal contradictions: two songs you consider magnificent amidst "crap" and "mediocrity," yet you give it 4 stars (which means: "this album is quite interesting, even if not exactly a milestone") for an album that, based on your review, seems like it deserves 2 stars? I appreciate that you're trying to convey your emotions about the albums you listen to, but it annoys me that you do it without reason and rationality. Have you ever heard of the principles of ADEQUACY and DIFFERENTIATION? I suggest you read "Using Your Brain for a Change," Astrolabio Editions, Richard Bandler, or any random book by Anthony Robbins, also on NLP, since they're all the same anyway. They would make you understand that when you say something, write a sentence, or issue a judgment or ruling, YOU MUST be convinced of what you're doing and support your argument with reasonable and adequate justifications. You're good; you can do better. For now, I'm sorry, but the rating is still 2.

What a pain in the ass, Radiohead! Long live Ok Computer, burn the rest.

Okay, you’ve annoyed me with this Radiohead stuff. I like them, but you’ve made me sick of them. What is this, the official RH fan club? All their concerts commented on, all their albums reviewed. Thankfully, they haven't made many, and the dates in Italy aren't that many either, otherwise you can imagine how annoying that would be! THERE’S OTHER MUSIC OUT THERE, YOU ALL KNOW? Long live the diversification of styles and cultures! And everyone has the same opinions. These RH are really getting on my nerves, I'm getting closer to Rivo! Rivo, wait for me, I’m coming. With the obvious exception of OK Computer, which for me will remain an eternal masterpiece, and part of Kid A, which is spectacular, the other "things" surrounding RH have bored me. From a cult band to a band of asses. You know what a mess I've made...

It was actually Mr_Iko who said that Kid A and Amnesiac should be side A and B of the same record, maybe merging them. Or like the double White, which would still be on another level anyway.

A curiosity for Sallo: can you explain the internal contradiction you're making? You give 5 stars to an album where "... the arrangements are too baroque, with effects and repeating scales..." I don't see the logic in that; it has to be one or the other: either it's baroque and repetitive or it's a masterpiece. The first thing you wrote is more accurate. Anyway (I almost never do this), I give a rating to your review: score 2, and you know why? Because I don't like people who think one thing and write another, just as I don't like people who judge lightly. I'm not talking about your writing style, even if it's minimal and lacks detailed explanations or proper technical-musical definitions; I don't judge your way of writing and your tastes. But it irritates me how easily you gave 5 stars to an album that deserves at most 3, and that's for Muse fans. I give it a 1; I think it’s terrible.

One of the ugliest, filthiest, cheekiest, dirtiest, and dustiest albums infesting my CD collection. Slowly, the dust will completely engulf it and, softening its presence, will obscure the memory of the disappointment of having been swayed by the cover. Showbiz was fresh and invigorating, a breath of newness that I particularly appreciated, even though it's a bit immature. This album is the logical consequence of contemporary commercial policies, the only true engine of modern discography: after making a nice album, here comes another one ready to ride the coattails of the previous one, to take advantage of the good wave. There is no appeal, no attention to detail; sometimes the sound has such compressed dynamics that it seems recorded on a 4-track. Songs that sound like clones of other pieces carelessly crumbled, mixed, and pieced back together randomly. Ba, I hope the dust settles quickly; I want to erase that dark period. I have high hopes for the next work; this time they've had the time to create something great.

I found a mistake in my review: I wrote (thinking it was correct) "Shpalmer," but it's actually "Shpalman": whoever can, please correct it. Come on, take it easy, dwarves, I care about you...

Enough already! You don't need to have read a treatise on aesthetics by Oscar Wilde to understand that this album is terrible! This album is the toilet seat, it's a rusty string that doesn't play but croaks, it's the nauseating smell of ozone before a storm... it's awful, no more words needed.

The important thing is that you listen in Christ, because in Christ there is truth.
