Clear and balanced review, very useful for young ones buying Darkness records, unaware that there are better options out there. Nice one, Fabbiu!
Francesco De Gregori Calypsos - 9 canzoni nuove
Voto:
Personally, while I appreciate some things about De Gregori, I believe that once ideas are exhausted and with a respectable bank account, one could dedicate oneself to other pursuits. Fabrizio De Andrè, until his death, had a continuous artistic evolution and never released albums for contractual reasons, as he had no necessity to do so. Just to give an example. But of course, no one is stopping anyone from continuing to buy albums by the Rolling Stones and De Gregori. P.S. Someone above wrote that De Gregori seems unfriendly... I had the chance to somewhat know him years ago, when I was working as a sound engineer, and I have to say that he is a very humble, kind, cultured, and respectable person (just my personal opinion, of course).
Infected Mushroom I'm The Supervisor

Mauri, the genre is Techno-trance, the unz unz is a must (or almost). I will add more samples. The interesting thing about Infected is that they have shown they can do much more, as evidenced by the beautiful double CD "Converting Vegetarians" (review coming soon) divided into two parts, one disc entirely trance + a second called "Other Stuff," which contains crazy compositions with varying BPMs. I highly recommend listening to it, regardless of your preferred genre, whether it's Brutal Death or Liscio Romagnolo.

Dear Ajeje, I'm not very familiar with De Gregori's repertoire, but certainly my knowledge goes beyond Buonanotte Fiorellino and Donna Cannone. He is definitely preferable to Biagio Antonacci, but he is not my favorite singer-songwriter. If we must talk about poetry and song, then we talk about Paolo Conte, Luigi Tenco, Fabrizio De André, Piero Ciampi. I apologize for the stratospheric nonsense, but (as our beloved junkman says...) "de gustibus"... :-)))

Enough, enough. Retirement. The original is unbearable, let alone the clone. I think I remember a couple of decent songs by De Gregori, and the inexplicable collaboration with De Andrè, but he is definitely one of the most overrated singer-songwriters of all time.

Under the banner of "DeGustibus", I can afford to say that these former darklings converted to the worst pop-folk-Nomadi-style have bored me to tears? But does anyone perhaps remember the Pogues and Les Negresses Vertes? Get yourselves a daytime job.
AA.VV. Festival della Canzone Italiana: prima (e per me ultima) serata

Ahahahah... beautiful, beautiful. A great example of how to "shoot at the Red Cross." Anyway, I completely agree (on trust, I haven't seen even a second of the Festival).
Kraftwerk Minimum Maximum DVD
Voto:
Did Kraftwerk get themselves captured on film? In 2006, Kraftwerk used an analog shooting system, mistakenly misjudging the sensitivity of the film? And despite having a versatile and malleable medium like film (70 mm, while we're at it?), they managed to have such a mediocre product made? Well, it’s a sad and beautiful world, and anything can happen; I can’t contradict an expert's opinion. In any case, the artistic content of the DVD is so substantial that the technical realization takes a back seat. Long live Kraft and let’s hope they produce even more, so much more music.
