...anyway, it's a pleasure to have found someone who was at the Palaeur in Rome on January 30 or 31, 1984, to see (and hear a little less since "Pungiglione" had a strong vocal deficit), but still, it was a truly unique and unrepeatable evening.

Finally, a group of readers who, although they think differently, still remain within a realm of homogeneous taste that I’ve rarely found on Debaser, often descending into bad taste (..go check what the posts on "Nevermind" by Nirvana have become, mah). I don't think there's much more to say about the album, as what I had forgotten has been competently added by Luca and Donjunio, who, despite being more passionate about another new wave, certainly do not deny the undisputed historical value of an album that will still be talked about...let's hope not in the same way as the posts about Nirvana (with all due respect).
p.s.: thanks to ossians, misterNO, for appreciating

A record (in my opinion) more than decent that has been Midas for everything it has put on CD over the last 20 years......great great, on this occasion maybe just greatish.

Anyway, a manifesto in its own way of what the refinement of a sound was that simply wasn’t mainstream when it appeared on store shelves, but worthy of great attention from all those who want to dissolve themselves from warm voices and sounds.

Great job, John, and well done, Joe. Compliments on a mini counter-review; I'll be waiting a bit.

Congratulations AR, this is truly a nice review, concise and strongly explanatory of the topic discussed. Many enjoy wracking their brains over the definition of the genre (pop-punk, pup-punk, or new-punk), which means they have nothing better to do. It would be much smarter to consider the album in question a product to spend a different half-hour listening to something we might not usually put in our player.

Great comment and a reflection of that mid-'90s era about to begin. A doubt springs to mind when you say that Kurt steps on stage with his two mates when at the time there were three as Pat Smear was also there..........

An overly pretentious album, even though Roxi Music is made up of very talented musicians (individually speaking); the only merit of the group is having inspired various artists in the years to come, like Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran, who at least managed to compose a few nice songs without going off the deep end... but how can you review an album without mentioning a title... mah.

From borntorun now you’ve really done a complete job and now I'm afraid that a score of 4 might even be too little.......hello and keep reviewing, Knopfler is a great topic that I see attracts a lot.

Thanks again for the positive feedback towards those who rate my reviews (I'm not sure I can even call them that... at least mine) with scores of 1 or 2. I understand that many interlocutors have their own justifications for not appreciating such a renowned group (well, among these there are those who consider a CSI album – an acronym surely more known for the TV series – to be all-encompassing and a safeguard for intelligence, or those who, with twenty lines on "A Big Bang" by the Rolling Stones, tried to pass off an adolescent comment as a review without even hinting at what the album contains... but didn’t the tracks have titles?). Alright, let's keep going as we've been doing so far, criticizing one another, quoting each other (but always with mutual respect and never offending!), and always showing interest in that fantastic world of the seven notes called... MUSIC. See you soon borntorun, I still owe you a reply, while I would have liked to read a more detailed opinion from Hal (...and maybe some samples :-)), but this is fine too. A big shout-out to jackfrusciante... thank goodness you’re here. I’M OUT!!!
