I’m sorry that my opinion about an album becomes an opportunity for some to offend other visitors of this pleasant "musical agora." In reading the comments from the "debaserian" DeMarga over these past months, I have never seen any gratuitous insults, and I invite my friend "Whocares" to do the same, since all I can do is thank for the compliments but not share "unprovoked attacks".... perhaps by listening to the album in question, you'll feel how quickly everything passes;-)

I have listened to the album and honestly, it seems to me something different...

An excellent album for a great review, with biographical and historical references that perfectly illustrate the context, not just musically... what can I say, hellraiser... is back.
Best regards to all the distinguished attendees.
Deep Purple The Battle Rages On...

Two things: 1) last summer had a benevolent influence on me from your side; 2) "The Battle..." is an album that still pleasantly finds its way onto the turntable. After all, we are not facing an album to discuss endlessly, since musically it seems to me that almost everyone found something good to take away from it. Thank you for sharing reflections (objectively verifiable) and thoughts (also personal) based on mutual respect for differing opinions, which only enrich this page dedicated to a historically essential band.

Beautiful review for an album that, while not original, definitely conveys a lot of charm, whether it's due to the value of the songs or the timbre of the talented (and beautiful) Alice.
Dire Straits Dire Straits

Dear casanova40, considering an overall assessment, I'm not sure if I would regard "Dire Straits" as their best album, but certainly 40 minutes of good music that history - over time - had to reckon with. Thank you for your input and for the generous evaluation.

Good to see you, L.. I consider "..At Nazareth" one of the most valuable tracks in the solo discography of the great Mark. I had the opportunity to see the leader of Dire Straits give his best live with the entire band on this very song, which features a spine-tingling instrumental part, enhanced by a scenery that alternates "fire red to a midnight blue." It was an emotion that I also preferred to enjoy live, without feeling the primary need to record the performance with my phone, allowing my mind to capture such a sonic wonder. Long live the emotional reactions that (perhaps) only those who have learned to appreciate music through vinyl and those covers with which you could wallpaper a room can truly understand, ha, ha... ah.... See you my friend.

In my most debatable opinion, I believe it's right that someone has taken the time to say a few words about this much-anticipated reprint. Good job on the description and the clarity with which you highlight the necessary features and details. Well done, chicco!
