A most enjoyable read for a record deserving of such attention... great job Lao

A great love declaration towards the Coathangers, but even more towards those who make music for the pleasure of doing it, fully engaging those who spend time in front of the computer, searching for something meaningful to read. Well done L...keep on rockin'...

There’s no denying that the combination of Lorenzo/Federico stands out as one of the most exciting novelties in the Debaser cosmos during this final stretch of 2014. A beautiful preface and environmental description of the album for DM, along with a thorough and faithful analysis of the record for ociredef.
I appreciate the idea (of the pairing, to be clear) but also the perfect harmony of both with the artist, putting into words sentiments and states of mind that fully reflect the nostalgic musical intimacy that shines through the confessional "I don’t want to change you."
Best compliments to you all…

I knew that tackling this review (which, let's be honest, is the least appropriate term to describe my mental musings on paper) wouldn't be easy, but stepping outside of my own tastes is certainly beneficial.
The album doesn't exactly represent the pinnacle of DD, but from the comments, I see it hasn't been completely unwelcome to everyone. After all, for those of us over forty, it's an opportunity to dust off a record that gained more fame after the explosion of "Is There Something I Should Know," or even more so after the arrival of "Seven and the Ragged Tiger," which featured more captivating tracks like "The Reflex" and "Union of the Snake." A self-titled CD that deserves more than a passing grade and that, upon re-listening many years after its release, is surely still capable of bringing back a simple pleasure of listening that I personally had set aside.
Best regards and thanks to all.

Well-crafted review for a record not to be forgotten.

A record that I still find beautiful and interesting years later for those approaching the listening of Sting. A record that significantly reflects the musical background of the Police's bassist, but which can only leave one amazed upon the first listen. I apologize for the transmission issues, but I swear the review was written and formatted differently (sorry GEENO, but it wasn't to discourage you from reading). I understand that visually facing this "little brick" to read isn't encouraging, but perhaps with the goal of reading (more or less) about music and sharing a few laughs, the objective is definitely achieved. Thank you all for the time dedicated and for those comments that enriched and made this "little page" more enjoyable, as well as to those who simply "peeked" in for a brief glance… :)

I do not agree with those who deem this work insufficient. There is some potential for success, even if it won't have the same stature as the historical albums. The review is good and very clear.
