Ivano Fossati Il Grande Mare Che Avremmo Traversato

Damn, Nickman... you managed to gather a little group of antifossatiani... up here...: I, who am very much a Fossati fan (my reviews prove it) tell you that I also love this Fossati album a lot. I love it because it's raw, imperfect. Because it's the beginning of something great. Because between the prog of that time and Battisti the influences were too obvious, because... well, a lot of reasons but I love it. IF had very high growth and evolution parameters. And this is just a (beautiful) beginning. It should be acknowledged (and those who don’t love it should do it too...). Good job.

To me, who has always shouted miracles at Conte, this album has always pleased me, like all the others, with the differences due to a normal artistic/musical growth/evolution. Good review, but in my opinion the interpretation of "Genova per noi" is completely wrong; it is solely and exclusively the portrait of the Piedmontese who, on days of escape, finds himself in Genoa, along with all the wonders that come from it (no portrait of the Ligurians... come on... but where...). Anyway, for the rest, good.

well...an interpretation that leaves me quite perplexed...(unless the narrator is the angel in first person...well...a close reading of the text is required)

Professor Vecchioni has always been a wonderful copier, but... I repeat: wonderful.

@core to core: thank you, beautiful speech, totally shareable and very well written. Really well done. @lux: boredom is on, I’m going all out...for the rest, thanks.

neither beautiful chick, nor beautiful music, but great for amateur porn or something like that. But very, very violent.

Guys... unbutton yourselves... you can also speak ill of the lovely Dori (not just about the many other Yokos)...: her behavior is shameful, plain and simple. Young Faber and debaser would today download everything on Emule. I have no doubt about this, and he would listen song by song, album by album... or should we say that today there’s no more time... there are no more midseasons... that the whole world is a village... mavalà... download everything Faber, everything Dylan, everything Cohen, and everything Brassens. They would have done the same. And screw the heirs, go...

Thank you all. @jim: and why? Can we talk about it...?
Fabrizio De André In Direzione Ostinata E Contraria 2

Premise: indisputable is the genius of De André. But let’s judge the product, and only the product. Well, the De André family (like almost all the others marked by genius posthumous) frankly disgusts me. Guys hanging around here: if you don’t know Faber, get or, better, download (he was an anarchist, he wouldn’t have scolded you for sure) his albums and listen to them like this, one by one, as he released them. While he was alive. And I pray that the God of Drunks has mercy on the souls of the heirs (clowns). (primiballi.blogspot.com)
