Oasis (What's The Story) Morning Glory?

AC/DC is a fantastic band, in my opinion you hit the nail on the head, for starters. The point is: find me the Beatles of the '90s, the Battisti of the '90s, the Dylans and the De André of the '90s (I could go on forever). Time is a serious matter, my friend, not something to be taken lightly... A hundred years after Mozart, no one was on his level in that field. Thirty years after Ellington's passing, no orchestra is at that level, and after Coltrane, no one has truly innovated the language of the tenor sax. Some things need to be recognized, in my opinion. Then it's only fair that everyone (of course...) has fun however they want and with whatever they want...

@hetzer: clarify that "always"... how old are you? From '78 to '83 you listened to Vasco, you followed him, you directly experienced the era, the moment, the atmosphere that surrounded those times. If so, fine, I don’t agree but I’ll adapt; if you’ve only heard those albums in recent years, you can’t grasp their profound innovativeness (revolutionary) for the language of Italian pop music. It’s a bit like watching "ecce bombo" now, at the cinema. Great philological work, but you risk understanding very little...

madonna, Punisher, how you took it...: for me it didn't deserve a reply. What remains to be understood, being serious, is how much of Miles' true intention there was in this work, the idea of which I always thought was truly beautiful and brilliant, while the execution has always left me with more than one question...

just add "for me" and everything is fine (otherwise you’re being picky)

So, let's clarify: I am a devoted fan of DMB, for example, who owes everything to the '90s, so I’m not here to say that the '90s are all crap, but in comparison to what came before, they are definitely, if you don’t want to say "forgettable," certainly something close to "irrelevant." Denying this is denying a law of nature, which is that everything has a beginning, development, and end, and consequently denying that so-called light music, simply because it is supported by a mega-market, does not make an exception to the rule. That’s all. It's clear that there have been significant figures, as there are in every genre and every era, but the true essence of the best originality in rock, rock-pop, or whatever you want to call it, is not from the '60s-'70s. I didn't mean to say anything more (other than that Oasis are terrible, obviously, but I won't spend another word on that).

yesyes...he has nothing more to say...: what I wonder is whether we should or can settle for "fun" and "good-sounding" records, or if we should demand from a great singer-songwriter (and Pino was one) something that always honors his past...it may not seem like it, but the answer, in my opinion, is not so immediate and easy...(primiballi.blogspot.com)

It may not be a true classic from Pink (I agree), but from the '80s, it definitely is...

Thank you for the trust, grass (which I reciprocate), but it’s always a relative discussion and not an absolute one (absolute is the love for the originals)...perhaps it would be worthwhile to clarify one’s ideas on the concept and value of covers...the underlying discourse is quite complex and open to interpretation...

Of course, if you select art and artists based on personal qualities, we save very few... the product must be evaluated, allowing the individual to be whatever they want to be... if we like health-conscious artists, we really have to settle for figures like Giovanotti...
