The Doors The Soft Parade

mahhh....agreeing with the lowest point and not any lower...well, highly criticized, it has gone down in history as a piece of junk....(which it is not...). I’ll just say one thing, provocatively: if only one of those many ultra-trendy youth groups that MTV imposes on us could manage to make an album like this...damn.
Fabrizio De André Fabrizio De André in concerto volume 1

What can we say about the most beautiful live performance in the history of Italian music...? That it's impossible to review it perfectly... not bad, of course, but insisting a bit more on the music and atmospheres would have been appropriate... anyway, very good. Incredibly perfect album.
Paolo Conte Aguaplano
Voto:
Alright, I’m the first to say that Conte is always at the highest levels (I’ve even written it in my reviews), but one cannot certainly argue that his inspiration is always a 10. If you know and love (but it couldn't be otherwise...) Paris and Un Gelato, you also know how he used to write back then...
Pino Daniele Iguana Café
Voto:
Sorry....with the utmost respect, but how old are you...? To find it decent as an ice cream...you can't be older than 25... With this, I repeat, the utmost respect, but I believe that only someone who hasn't experienced the best Pino directly can speak this way... Please, respond without insults, as my intention is not to offend.

what a pity...: these adolescent squabbles often ruin interesting discussions, leaving in their wake a useless nothing....

Honestly, I adore BE so much that I can't rank them. Just like with Miles, Baker, or Jarrett, for me - incredibly biased without thinking - it's all gold, always. I join the chorus of those who couldn't care less about the distracted audience: Mr. E has gone down in history, the fifty idiots who were down there, probably not.

good and fair review. Personally, I believe Aguaplano is an explosion of creativity born from a golden moment, the one lived with the wonderful band that accompanied the Avv. in the first half of the eighties. However, if we get a bit more personal, I must say that the Count for me, in all its sublime and unreachable glory, is the one from the duo Paris Milonga and Un Gelato Al Limon...: for me, he has never written so well again (and I believe for him too...).
The Rolling Stones A Bigger Bang

I agree, sweet neocon is indeed a bit cloying and ugly, undoubtedly the worst episode of the album. However, I don’t agree with those who bring up the criterion of utility…: when have genuinely useful records come out in the last 10-15 years…? It’s the criterion that is wrong…
Claudio Baglioni La vita è adesso
Voto:
I am very attached to this album, so much so that I don't know if my judgment (which I find excellent in every way) is a reliable one. I was young, incredibly in love, on Vasco's side against the Baglioni fans in the group. Those holidays, with Cosa succede in città against La vita è adesso, were unforgettable...
Pink Floyd The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

I conclude by reiterating my point of view, obviously with full respect for yours: for me, Pink Floyd means Waters and Gilmour. They have contributed to making music history much more than Syd. I might be sick... but, as they say... misery loves company, and this ailment afflicts many of us... Best regards.
