I've found myself liking The Punisher lately... on this album, however, I would have emphasized more the fact that MD had only sketched it, inadvertently leaving too much work to someone else's post-production. So it's definitely a minor album, but (at least in my opinion) certainly different from what it would have been with Miles alive. The fact remains that, even though it's quite small, this too has influenced others (DJ Krush and Toshinori Kondo... for example...).

beautiful album (for me not the best...but it's subjective), anyway a product of a golden era, for the Prince and for high songwriting. yes...guys: listen to Dalla and De Gregori from this period...great pleasures come from it.
