it's a shame that Sade has become the Icon of the Eighties' Youth Hangout, of which I proudly consider myself a part. a shame...? why did I say a shame...? everything, even Hangout music, can be of the highest quality. this album was, and still is (good music never goes out of style).

but fuck off to the bastard and those like him: we write for the pleasure of writing and read for the pleasure of reading... the rest is trivial nonsense (by the way, I never give grades... I express judgments, which satisfies me more and—I hope—the recipient...)

an amazing live performance for a band for which the live experience IS the pure dimension. too bad about the compositional poverty (something I've always believed) and the lack of vocal personality...everything else has always been (and still is) incredible...!
Claudio Baglioni Tutti qui

holy shit, I agree, love-hate punisher, and it's also written very well. Even if discovering a Baglioni-esque (from the '70s... the '80s...?) in the dark corner of your soul illuminated my heart immensely... but you know...: you always joke around, you little rascal.

Thank you... and think that I noticed yours afterwards (and I really liked it).

Nice review: the squad of contiani continues to bear fruit! In this album, there is the only song that is truly and explicitly about love by the Avvocato, that "Gioco d'Azzardo" which, at the very thought of it, brings tears to your eyes. That alone would be enough. The rest of the composition is of the highest quality. It may suffer a little from the "dated" arrangements, but if we want to nitpick, and a lot...

forgiven...: the irreverent vein of those years is its absolute strength, that is indisputable. what was said today, or rather yesterday, is equally strong, considering the era (I remind you that we are in the triumph of devoted atheists...neither...?!). anyway, these are trifles and trivialities: let’s debate between a 10 and a 10 with honors.......
Bruce Springsteen Lucky Town

Good album, but I've always been puzzled by its nature as an E Street album without the E Street. For this reason, I've always preferred the contemporary Human Touch, which is bolder, at least from a musical and arrangement standpoint (in terms of lyrics, Lucky is better, but incomparable to the "somme" works).

x Massimof: agreed, in the 70s-80s it was at its absolute peak. but in this album there is a depth, a foresight, a wisdom...the fact that he is dead is not secondary and it couldn't be: this is the best conscious interpretation of death that a genius could provide us (that’s why, for me, it’s beautiful...and at those levels...)

I like Ian, and by the way, I like the Cult as well (I was just trying to provoke a bit...). Just yesterday I was listening to the DVD of the "new" Doors, and I realized what a great product it could be with less imitation...
