dear Davide, I wouldn't want the defense of these records to be an indirect (and unconscious) defense of Your youth... could it be a generational issue...? I too loved some of these records (bonne...un uomo....and medina especially) but, honestly, there's no comparison with the Pino before the ferry boat. Listen to everything again calmly and let me know. No one would take issue with the new Pino if the old one hadn't been so immense...

Grass..: I agree on everything, but if I had to talk about a trilogy, I would place the second "Pino Daniele" with Vai Mò and Nero...: this is immense but a millionth of a millimeter below, in my opinion. D'Alessio is the real cancer of Southern music... he is causing perhaps irreparable damage (obviously well accompanied by those in power and also by those who give ridiculous positions to regime singers...)... at least Tatangelo is really hot...

I repeat my point: Pino is a genius up until the live Sciò, a true spiritual testament. Ferry Boat is still good... then comes the deluge of adolescent-literary overflow, despite having worthy musical foundations. I reiterate: I believe the detrimental influence of his beautiful wife weighs heavily on his choices... Pino is one of those artists who thrives when he's angry.
