Antonio Carlos Jobim The Composer Of "Desafinado" Plays

a great review of an excellent deBasian author for an Artist who, frankly, no longer needs any re-evaluation, being rightly placed among the Giants today. a very beautiful album (like all the others, after all). primiballi.blogspot.com

pixelid: who wrote the music for Battisti? enlighten us and then move on to Paolo Limiti's next show, where you'll surely have a place of honor (and while you're at it, who has a beautiful voice...? Bocelli, Pausini, Ramazzotti, Britti, Jovanotti, or Pezzali?) primiballi.blogspot.com
Zucchero feat. Miles Davis Dune Mosse
Voto:
I appreciate Zucchero and revere Miles. "Dune mosse" is an objectively beautiful piece: perhaps the best by the Emilian singer-songwriter. So... what about it? Well, there’s a tiny detail, unfortunately: in this track, Miles plays poorly, and there’s no technical trick that can save it, not even on Zu&Co. A limping phrasing and lack of inspiration, very limited familiarity with the piece and its harmonies, and certainly not a memorable day (overall, it’s a struggle, and a bad one at that). Sugar can boast about having played with Miles, and that's a good thing, but he knows very well (he can't not know it) that that Miles is one of the worst ever heard... unfortunately. primiballi.blogspot.com

Pink Floyd The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

Objectively, I have never labeled any review as useless. I myself have made "duplicates" multiple times... but, frankly, there has been plenty said about the Pink of this era, even in DeB, perhaps even too much. There comes a moment when one must look at the list of those who have already talked about an album and also consider the possibility, maybe remote and painfully difficult, of reviewing another one. Anyway... this is the realm of the broadest democracy, so everything is fine (that’s what I’ve already told myself...)

geeno: I too feel the need to explain. First of all, my idea of death...: for me, the dead are just living beings who are no longer around, so I have no reverential fear of any kind for them. Romanticized visions of a certain type of ancient Italy (the dead should not be touched, at most they can be insulted) do not belong to me. I allowed myself (this much, yes) a brutal summary to say that characters like RG, minor characters, decent enough, but in my opinion absolutely not genius as death would have shaped them, today are all there, either duetting with the current American rockstar, if they got lucky (think Ramazzotti) or making people dance on antenna3 (if they didn’t get lucky... many of them... almost all the sixies from Italy, so fabulous...). That’s all. Now, if we say that history doesn’t happen with "if" and that my post could have been inappropriate, I could also agree and apologize to those I bothered, but making a prediction about what it would have become in light of what it was... well... I truly believe that can be done.

my blog: I'm checking now, but I believe you can comment by selecting "other" and writing any name... of course, to use the same name you need to register (a bit like here) but the blog (for now) is absolutely a work in progress...; lucabbrasi: seeing the cornetto I had exactly your feelings...: the search for the "environment" Police is quite evident. however... it seems that in the studio they are going in a completely different direction...

yes and no, Andy…: they were cover con artists, and yet wonderful, who had interpreted a song by pinking it… a marvel… Mixage was full of these great hits sung by others, and at the time they even seemed the same to us… how beautiful… I also bought that Mixage at the market stall, so it was a counterfeit of counterfeit versions… what splendor…

Antonello Venditti Che fantastica storia è la vita

For me, this album represents a sort of return to singer-songwriter style and a slight step forward compared to some things that you, for example, maginboo, mention as beautiful and that I consider to be from the ultra-commercial period... de gustibus... il bar musicale di FullG
