Castaldo, why didn't you tell me something more about the album instead of writing a story, which, by the way, is nice? Why this constant urge to be "alternative" and "original" instead of being "reviewers"? Why not use other sites? Or, I ask the DeBaser committee, why not open a section dedicated to musical stories? I’m not against you, Castaldo; I’m just saying that when I want to know something about an album, I don’t want to learn it through stories, poems, or other forms, but maybe I’m the one who’s wrong... anyway, I have the album, and it’s among those I consider the best from EELS, unlike the last double which is a bit of a drag.

The review is nice and original = compliments, unfortunately the album (or rather, the excerpts listened to from their site) makes you feel this way: already chewed up and spat out, heard for the millionth time from teenage pop bands that last a couple of seasons and then disappear... I'll tell you more, in my opinion, "making" music like this is dramatically easy (and this also explains why many come out with all this junk...)!

Indeed, the album is "a bit heavy," but it’s delightful in how poignant and melancholic it is. Clearly, it needs to be dosed like Moment, but when you’re feeling down, it cradles you like a fairy tale!

Competition with fabioz: the best is Regatta de Blanc, without a doubt. This Ghost... has some interesting ideas but is a strange hybrid still not very classifiable in their discography.
