Pucia, listen, I’ve been into rap for a long time, and I've listened to everything from Articolo 31 to Onda Rossa Posse, to unknowns like 00 Kash and the new Romans of the SDF Crew. I've enjoyed many and not liked others. Have you listened to the Flaminio from the time when Piotta was with Robba Coatta? The Flaminio who performed at Alpheus and nobody cared about them. The Flaminio were and are true rap artists. Like Piotta does, like Tormento does, like Fish produces, like that idiot Caparezza does, like Mondo Marcio does, like Frankie Hi-NRG does. Once rap & hip hop become commercial, they don’t stop being rap & hip hop. Art31 started making Poprock-trash, Jovanotti went for Funky-poprock, the GdV turned Pop, and they moved away from Rap. But not the Flaminio. Even someone like Daniele Silvestri, in his own way, has done something rap-like, even the Skiantos. Rap is not just what is labeled as such, but also a way to express oneself. There isn’t just anonymous rap any more than there is just commercial rap. We can't say it's true rap only if it’s independent or only if it’s from the majors. Rap is a style to be listened to and interpreted however you like without rules or preconceptions. Because it's poetry. That's how I see it. I’ll just tell you that I’m a Fibra fan, but I also really like Yoshi and his diss towards Fibra & Nesli.

you can tell me everything I hate the most: like "De André sucks," "rap isn't music," "Laura Pausini is a genius," and I'm willing to discuss it and even accept different tastes... but if Pausini has even a shred of musical dignity, Britney Spears is vapid... pointless... pure crap, that's the only thing I won't compromise on.
