I remove the ColdPlay that my mother had put on, play Home, and start writing.
Francesco Tarducci alias Nesly Rice, brother of Fabrizio Tarducci alias Fabri Fibra.
Nesly, author of great CDs like "Cactus" with the Piante Grasse, "Ego", producer of the beats of "Mr.Simpatia" by Fabri Fibra...
Intro Fitte Da Latte opens the CD, this time Nesly is more aggressive and tougher than before, and he proves it with this intro.
Mmmhh, Nesly goes after the gangsta, among other things, in this track and devotes himself to rhymes like "a corpse in the trunk", very "fibrane". But Nesly is fresh, angry, and sincere. And he opens his work well. The Intro is followed by Mi Sento Ok, where Nesly introduces the choruses.
...
A nice beat, the concept is clear, Nesly, time passes, never changes, remains the same, he's young, but doesn't improve, doesn't worsen... just keeps making hip-hop, and he's fine with it that way.
"I fail, I get up, and rest assured that I'll beat you", an optimistic and decidedly winning philosophy. A beautiful song, nice beat, rhymes, decent choruses, but they're well inserted.
With "Sono un prodotto" Nesly introduces the features with Fabri Fibra, his brother. Fibra is in the full swing of the "Mr.Simpatia" era, so he introduces the track with that unmistakable and genius annoying little voice he also uses in the short skits of "Mr.Simpatia". These two rappers are tired of having no breakthroughs while seeing people like Angelini, Valeria Rossi, and Matteo Bassi soaring with stupid songs, stupid beats in a stupid genre like pop, while they, so dedicated, with nice beats, concepts, in a respectable genre like hip-hop, are forced to eat dust... so they conclude that if they are so hated by the high places of the "record scum", as Bassi calls it, it’s because they are a product "of this society (...) without dignity", says the same Nesly. Fibra adopts his genius and irreverent posture from carefreetrap, which has characterized him for the past year. And the game is on.
Then there’s "Lascio Stare", a track that Nesly also inserts in "Andiamo" by Fabri Fibra. Here, it’s about letting everything go to hell to enjoy the good moments: "I let go of all my problems, I let them not bring me down, it’ll be like turning on your back then getting up and not thinking about it anymore", right... Nesly also criticizes the embarrassing generational void that overwhelms us, talking about the late generation house pill-poppers.
In "l'Appuntamento" Nesly will recount everything he lives without prejudices towards those he meets, and Fibra is more aggressive than ever. The choruses are very well placed, and the beat is as always intriguing.
Then there’s "Glin Green", it’s about personal style. Then Fibra returns, this time with Maxi B and all three warn us that with their name "I wipe my ass", as Maxi B says. According to the three rappers, names, fame mean nothing compared to how you do hip-hop, I believe this is the basic concept of any self-respecting rapper.
Nesly is a "Strano Italiano" and dedicates some regrets and reflections with "Quello Che Non 6". I don’t remember which writer said that the greatest human virtue is kindness. And even instigating tenderness is not a bad start. Nesly is an intimate person and, as he already demonstrated in "Ego", he is endowed with these capabilities, which he exhibits less in "Home", in favor of a higher and longer-lasting stylistic choice, but after all his purity of soul is felt.
"When You Go Away" is a shining example and after "My South", this fundamental characteristic reappears with "Il Vento Dei Ricordi", a central piece of the CD and in my opinion one of the rapper's best ever. "Il Vento dei ricordi" has a beautiful base, delicate and marked at the same time, and well-placed rhymes, excellent choruses, and sweet, nostalgic, and delicate concepts that open up to Nesly’s inner self (morally, not texturally). It’s like returning to "Words to Dedicate to You" of "Ego" and you can’t help but dream with him in this track.
"I Look Outside", as the title says, is a hymn to optimism, the serious kind. The kind that always continues despite difficulties and remains anchored to a disenchanted realism, which strengthens it even more. Of course, Nesly won’t call Fibra in the middle of the night to say < Fabri, optimism is the scent of life!> because I believe his brother would forbid him further abuses of cannabinoid scents. After this unfortunate joke, let's close.
"Outro to Myself": Nesly is an intimate person, and he dedicates the Outro to himself, as always he has no problem opening up to the listener.
He leaves us with the bonus track "You and Me", the album's sweet track, which gives that touch of completeness bringing it to a 5.
Why Nesly?
Because he doesn't boost anything to enrich his image, he manages to be sincere, delicate, sweet, a dreamer, romantic, irreverent, and polemical simply by opening himself up, without inventing gangsta or excessively negative or damned additives.
Dr. Nesly and Mr. Simpatia could be the nickname of the Tarducci brothers, one the opposite of the other but always united.
Fibra, pure aggression, giddy, exasperated, excessive and therefore genius.
Nesly, purity of soul, optimism, love, delicacy, intimacy and minimalism (in rap we realize!!!) therefore genius.
Excellent beats, beautiful rhymes. The only flaw is the choruses, which sometimes slow the rhythm, but overall the score is the highest.
"I'm not good, but neither am I bad, I'm Nesly"
Banal? yet this track summarizes the rapper. He is nothing terrible or gorgeous, he is Nesly and that’s it. And he feels ok.
