Disgraceful record, I wouldn't even know whether to call it a record, since albums of the caliber of Pink Floyd, Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer are called that (these come to mind now because they are my favorites), but even contemporary artists who still manage to create something are recognized in that way. It is shameful that an album like this, with four little songs entirely created on a computer to make Britney dance, because let's be honest, they only serve to make her act like a tease and to make foolish young guys drool, has sold millions of copies!!
Now I sadly wonder: where has real music gone?? The kind that moves us, gives us chills, that is rich with chords, new sounds, originality, the kind that even if listened to a million times never tires us because it is varied in every sense??!! Where has the personality gone? Now it's enough to put a pretty girl in front of the cameras, and let's say pretty in quotes, because without those layers of makeup you wouldn't even look at her... make her act coy, with a padded bra, a thong, and she easily sells millions of records, entirely undeserved.
And I'm specifically talking about the millions of records Britney Spears has sold with this pointless album, the tracks are completely insignificant, her voice foolishly and miserably exploited! If I absolutely must save a song, it might be "Everytime", there Britney has a better voice and all in all, the song is sweet and melancholic.
I truly have nothing else to say!! And in any case, reviewing this album has been a form of venting; I truly believe in what I've written! And I thank anyone who is reading this!
In the Zone by the true Queen of Pop who ideally and materially takes over the scepter from Madonna Louisie Ciccone.
A transition album that marks the passage from the teenage Britney to Miss Britney Spears.
