Di Pietro is an honest person. And that is much more than what Berlusconi could ever be. But as Iside says, thinking it over, it’s true that sweeping away the First Republic has opened the doors to something worse, but at this point, it’s the fault of the people: because people are disgusting, in their base ignorance and their selfishness. Italians have learned to screw each other over, and to value more than anyone else those who have taken it up the ass from everyone. They deserve this political class, which is unfortunately worse than that of the First Republic.
