Valerio, ever since you lost the challenge with Arnoldlayne, I no longer recognize you; you've become so rough... I don't understand anything you say. You may have lost a battle, but not the war; rise up, don't let yourself go... don't let yourself sink.

Don't be fooled by the vulgar and pitiful advertising invasion that has recently overwhelmed you regarding BORAT (by the way, recently censored in DVD edition - of course in Italy, where else would they censor such nonsense): this guy is good, often displaying uncommon intelligence, and he's worth discovering. As for the dubbing, I reiterate my point of view: for years I've refused to see Johnny Depp with the voice of a painter from Sassuolo, or Benicio del Toro with that of a turner from Viareggio. In a film, vocal interpretation is fundamental: have you ever tried watching Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas in English (maybe with Italian subtitles)? An immense pleasure. I watched 10 minutes of it in Italian and it felt like I was watching another movie. Stronko, are you going to Cuba? I can only imagine how many Caribbean music reviews you'll come back ready to publish... ;)

Jokes aside, the review isn't that bad after all, but it's fun to mess around with the recipes from stronkolesto. At this point, since I'm a bit tired of always writing the same things (just like the reviewer, by the way :P), I'll copy and paste what I've already said about Sacha Baron Cohen (funny enough, always in a review of stronkolesto). >>> I don't understand why some countries still insist on dubbing films; dubbing films is a crime: and it's a crime that a movie like this is dubbed. Speaking of the character: I've been following Sacha Baron Cohen since the beginning (about 4 years ago): a guy with a huge, long journey; he started with the character of Ali G (initially really chilling, tacky, vulgar, incompetent, a provincial little boy): the movie is one of the worst things I've ever seen. Then he began breaking away from the managers who were running his business and started doing his own thing. For those who want to dive deeper, I recommend: "Da Ali G in USAiii" and "Ali G Innit". Interviews with politicians, media, unionists, actors, astronauts, advocates for world peace and garden peace. A talent that has exploded in an extraordinary, unique, and original way: of course, if you don't understand cockney, you'll miss half the meaning. The worldwide success of BORAT seems contradictory but it kills his career: in America, he had huge success, everyone knows him, and no one gets fooled anymore (the characters Ali G and Borat are feignedly stupid, ignorant, and naive, and the hilarity lay in the fact that the interviewees truly believed they were facing such a human rejection) - continues -
