Who has seen "Control?" I moderately liked it. Beautiful cinematography, nice snapshot, gorgeous direction, and a beautiful performance by Ian. But I liked it moderately: I can't stand the wife, and if she's telling the story too, I can stand it even less.

their first album, "everything is," really caught me at the time; the first four songs were a punch in the stomach. this one, I don't know, really, I need to listen to it more closely, even though I'm afraid there won't be time. I'm torn between 2 and 3. I saw them live (back then) and they made me have a blast.
