Madrugada Live At Trafalmadore

Robert Burås, the brilliant guitarist of Madrugada, died last July, likely from an overdose. I'm telling you this four months late; I was browsing for possible future concerts and ended up learning about his death. Anyway, it seems that Madrugada has come to an end. For me, this is terrible news. Unfortunately, we've run out of words; otherwise, I would propose a commemorative editorial.

Yes, but what do I have to do with it? I thought I was being polite and friendly. I conversed with balance and judgment. I even tried to be your friend; I almost felt fond of you. But fuck you!

Brother, with all my understanding for disturbances like insomnia, but at 3:30 in the morning there are many things you could be doing, all surely more interesting than coming to comment... Have you tried moonlit rooftop walks? P.S.: Has it already disappeared from the homepage? You write too much!

Very kind. So: my favorite director would be Terrence Malick, but he's probably so ahead of all the others that I forget him in the lists. Of Abel Ferrara, my favorite is "King Of New York," with Christopher Walken, really beautiful. Genre? Oh my, I don’t know; I would definitely make a fool of myself like Marco Poletti. I like reviewing movies, but I don’t really understand much about styles... and the truth is, I can’t even review them (you can tell, I hardly talk about them…). Let’s say ā€œraw and visionary,ā€ okay, halfway between Lynch and Cronenberg as you define them. If it’s not the right answer, please don’t hit me.

I would like to dedicate this humble composition to a sensitive and delicate user (and I'm sure also good in bed), a devoted reader full of humanity! Damn! Damn, always stay with me!

No, you’re sick, because there's no need to kick anyone in the ass if you don't like Thom Yorke. But if you can't understand, you're justified: what percentage of disability did the ASL give you?

Good morning brothers and sisters. Thank you for coming. Here are a few more opinions to encourage the viewing of this GREAT film: Naomi Watts is beautiful (and incredibly talented); Vincent Cassel is the same, but maybe a bit less handsome; Cronenberg creates one of the most intense scenes of recent years, the naked fistfight of Mortensen (completely naked the whole time) in the Finsbury Council sauna. I’ve looked into it: the film comes out in Italy in December (let’s hope not around Christmas, as that’s too commercial). If you want the plot, I can explain it, but I find narrating the plot to be one of the most boring things a human can be subjected to… Anyway, the performance of the old guy from "Shine," who plays a ruthless boss and rapist here, is also great. I saw the film "Control" three weeks ago and for me, it's a 3. Brilliant direction, beautiful portrayal of Ian Curtis, and magnificent photography (in black and white). Terrible dialogues taken from the wife’s book (who seems like a saint here). And now, an extraordinary, indispensable, magnificent expression of free will: here you go!
