I understand and share Captain's viewpoint. However, listening to such tracks on a dark and rainy night (not stormy, mind you) is an immense pleasure for me. It's also worth mentioning that the image of a woman singing with a guitar slung over her shoulder or her fingers on a piano has always fascinated me. Whether it's Germano or Tori Amos, or Maria Taylor, or Elisabeth Anka Vajagic, and assorted goddesses. My top 5 of 2007 (not 10 because I would need more time): 1. Michael J Sheeny (Ghost on a Motorway) 2. PJ Harvey (White Chalk) 3. Radiohead (In Rainbows - the bonus disc is slightly better than the official album, if you have half a paycheck left, consider it...) 4. Gravenhurst (The Western Land, really grew on me with repeated listens until I loved it to bits) 5. Rufus Wainwright (Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall, just released a few days ago and I fell in love with it instantly). There, I’ve said it, now I feel much better... ;)

"But then, I have to come to Moscow to see you calling me an idiot? What's this, the new frontier of extreme travel?" >>> I had missed this one... and it's the best of recent times... :)

Can someone who knows this movie well give me a hand? I would like to know how the term "mook" used in the pool hall scene was translated into Italian, when Keitel and De Niro go to collect the money from the chubby guy. The fat man doesn't want to pay because one of the guys is a "mook," and no one knows what "mook" means. How was "mook" translated in the Italian version? To whoever responds, I offer my deep gratitude...

Every time something I love appears on Debaser, I’m always overtaken by a feeling of terror, but Supersoul is good, thank God. For me, this is Scorsese's masterpiece.

55 pounds for the concert fucking hell!!! practically almost 100 euros with all the shipping costs and the damn purchasing fees (what the hell is that?). This thing really gets on my nerves... So far, I've got one ticket for the London date and one for Glasgow. In Italy in June (Milan). I finally got the box set for 40 fucking pounds with the bonus CD (nice, it pretty much sounds like the first album, you can't tell the songs apart). Fantastic overall, with two vinyl records and a couple of booklets with little doodles that aren't very useful. What can you do to get by...

Always extraordinary to listen to this album, an experience that neither changes nor fades over time and with repeated listens. Every time I find myself completely immersed in an album that is simply perfect for me. Always the highest rating.

This morning I had just woken up with a desire for dramatic cosmic doom... I repeat: absolutely dramatic/chill out! But is it "bè" or "beh"?
