In the debate about "Gentleman," I feel compelled to testify in its favor. Indeed, this album by Cave (whom I admit to have listened to only a little) can easily lose to his past (not recent, though). It’s a good record, at times beautiful. The problem, however, is that if it had been written by a newcomer, it would have gone almost unnoticed. I imagine that much of Cleo's enthusiasm depends on the freshness of the listening experience. It’s a good record, I repeat, you can feel the hand of a talented artist (which Cave is). But the trajectory is downward for our hero, whom I still follow with interest, but no longer with the fervor of the past. Ah! The review is nice, really nice (like Cleo). :) Cleo, I'm giving you 5, but I don't know if you’re among the favorites! :)))
