Neil_Young77... 1) You can find the "journalist" review in a music magazine (which, I wouldn't want you to be greatly disappointed, I think will resemble this one quite a bit) 2) If this album is inconsequential in the boss's discography, take off that unworthy nickname and go back to listening to Born in The Usa... (a beautiful album, by the way).

These Battisti discs with Panella have divided the audience. Some found them original, too ahead of their time to be understood, intellectual, abstract, cubist, and whatever else you can think of. Others, I believe the majority, felt confused, somewhat betrayed, some horrified, others indifferent. I side with the latter. This Panella, despite the fact that the album is now 12 years old, is still too ahead (for me). Who knows, maybe when they composed it, they were thinking of 2020. I will listen to it again with hope in 15 years... P.S. An eccentric review that fits the album wonderfully.

It feels like I'm reading "review by ..caz..". Then please, try to respect other people's tastes, otherwise I'll have to dig up your skeletons in the closet. You know very well that besides Springsteen (a great artist!!!) I really like many other groups and singers that you also appreciate. Here it seems to me that, simplifying, you don't accept criticism... far from being sad...

You keep serving the same reheated dish of the lonely and sad boy (nice, this!), but you don’t “lower” yourself to discuss either the album or the review, despite my subtle pressing invitation. Indeed, Daniele, the album definitely deserves (at least in my opinion) more than 4 stars. A beautiful record, mature and tough, romantic and dispassionate, very different from the classic Springsteen production. And "Tougher Than The Rest" remains one of his most beautiful songs.

So, let’s see, I talked about the review and I want to discuss it because you called me "sad" for what I wrote regarding YOUR review, giving you a low 2. I bet my aunt’s friend’s nice shoes that if I had given you a 5, I would have been seen as a kid bursting with happiness, right? The thorny issue is your review, and yes.
