Well, your personal recipe for an electronic music track suggests that perhaps this isn't the genre you frequent the most... But undoubtedly, part of R. Miles' production gained the luck it had precisely because it appealed to those less accustomed to electronic sounds, especially from the last 30 years. - A few years ago, I wrote a rather dry little page about one of his albums, which was quite different from the single in question, and among the comments, I believe other titles emerged from a body of work that had essentially turned towards the things he liked the most, rather than trying to replicate a long-past global success. I continue to revisit, from time to time, the one in collaboration with Trilok Gurtu, if only for the quality of those unexpected sounds in a Miles album. And yes, R.I.P.

Never read a line, but don’t scold me, come on, I’ll do it, I promise. - Now, two questions from a certified smartass: 1) Literarily, are you a woman? Did I get that right? And is this a soap opera suitable for you and others like you? - 2) How can a sea of rough waves that crash violently and dramatically against the rocks be placid, even if just apparently? - Yes, I know, but I can't help it; it's my nature.

Well said. - Having already given abundantly, I may refrain, just now when it is actually the right moment (perhaps the group most suited for such a collection).

So, did he make a new album? I'll find it and then maybe we can talk about it. The albums of his that I've listened to the most, I believe, are "Element of Light" and "I often dream...." so I don't know if we're on the same page; I prefer the softer stuff (if I understood correctly, this last one is of that kind). I was a bit disappointed by one of his live shows from quite a few years ago, but that was partly my fault; maybe it just wasn't the right night.

And you, have you played this old blues often?

Wow, you've been on DeB for over 4 years and only show up now? It must be the proverbial subalpine reticence... I see you're no novice and, despite your 2 pages scrolling through the dusty roads of the past, you were hanging out at the Tuxedo when you were 15. Can we then expect some incursions into other musical lands as well, Mr. nix?

Beautiful, a pleasure to read you, all the links to listen, public service (as Stoopid would say). I liked this album, but I had forgotten it. Thank you.

But how the hell did it get a 5 in the review? There's a conspiracy, I wanted to rate it a 1!!! ;)
