No, Kosmo, not in relation to what they were saying, or rather, what ZiOn was trying to say between one insult and another from the anonymous capital letter. Davis is the jazz icon everyone knows, and his "movements" in many directions are part of the jazz journey. But it's in the other direction that Guru's album represents a significant attempt: that of the possibilities for the evolution of hip hop or whatever the hell it's "correct" to call it. And it represents a precise and detailed declaration of intent, to which the album remains faithful. And yes, come on, send yours. I’m sure of the quality, even if it might not be seen the same way. Cheers.

ZiOn, instead of wasting time in a dialogue(?) that takes up space and diminishes the remaining desire to read the comments, why don't you write a detailed review of Guru Jazzmatazz Vol.1? It seems there's none of that here, and it's a significant gap, among others. I believe you are capable of doing a good service to such an album. Regards.

Hey, Ugo, a stone in the pond? Sure, as far as I'm concerned, your assertion is quite a bold gamble. And I don't agree with it. But this remains a good album nonetheless. The review comes across as a bit sparse, especially in relation to the uniqueness of Kozelek's songwriting.

Almost everything is shareable, for me. Yes, I heard her live about ten years ago, more or less. At that time, she didn't strike me as a talented pianist, and I must admit I don't have all her works. I know this one and rate it 4. I didn't say you shouldn't compare those two, did I? In fact, I wrote that you did it for "for comprehensible reasons," complete with a typo. I merely expressed the disgust provoked by the comparison of Holiday with Lunch. Shouldn't I have? I didn't contest the comparison with Monk either, nor did I imply that your lines took anything away from it. I expressed an opinion, personal but firm. Not against yours. I think your review is excellent, even if not entirely shareable. Greetings from the den.

Another dive into the past to fish out a great piece of work. I am very fond of the debut album; it was a surprise back then. A uniquely personal sound and (it’s true) that sense of imminent threat in which at least 3/4 of the perfect tracks are immersed. Recommended for anyone who doesn’t think it’s just about decades and trends. I also give credit to the choice of recovering it.

Already ten years? Recently listened again. It remains in perfect health. Great choice, this revival.
ZiOn, you talk about Afrika Shock. I don't know it: is it possible to be better than this?

In general, I can shit even without the help of anyone or anything. Even regarding the gas, we’re not on the same page; I pay regular bills for a regular service. But you still don’t understand. You insist. I can’t take it anymore, with you. You’ve won. By abandonment. Technical K.O. from exhaustion.

We are many, we are a legion, wearealleamateurs... But then the hunt for the odradek is on. No, I'm not in a hurry. Too many little greys in one go. As for wearealleamateurs: Doctor, it was something between me and one of the hidden ones, not an open lesson for the public, because I can’t handle that, sorry. I would also leave those to those who know how to do them, like Mr. Felafel. However, I did have a lesson, as often happens. Many greetings to the legions. Hearing the voices that speak on behalf of the multitudes gives me hives. And chills. I'm leaving. Bye.

For Eneathedevil: I have no idea about that little game. I’m not familiar with the enigmatical week. But let's clarify one thing, as the misunderstanding is serious: let's leave the old, lovable Franz where he is. Odradek is Odradek. I repeat, it has a life of its own. It's neither beautiful nor useful to resurrect Kafka every time we deal with him. Ok?

No, the tail is not made of straw. I suggest you read the description of the odradek to get an idea. And who were you referring to, grigiolino? And what do you need, if I may ask, to understand the different meanings of the terms in use? I assume you are what you are, given your stubbornness in hiding while throwing pebbles from the loophole. A presumption to which, grigiolino, you force me. That of the Vate is of another nature, sublime, I would say. I must say that He, at least, has the healthy courage to show his face. But tell me who you were referring to, you know, I can't seem to find any other possible references to your keen observations. Big kisses.
