Beautiful page. She never heard of it (it doesn't seem to be a serious gap).

But you really can't help but take advantage of every opportunity, Aeneas? Holy gods, what’s happening to you? You're a lively, sharp, and handsome young man, it shows. After all those stones, you’re hiding your hand and pretending to be the victim? You've certainly got a thick skin...

Thank you for the information; now we also know which category to place ourselves in. There’s also the option of choice, truly generous. The possibility that you might not be interested in music at all, but only in showcasing an improbable critical ability (you even have some champions who pop up wherever they can to appear in the picture) and a fanciful navel-gazing attitude towards writing doesn’t even cross our minds. Even the criterion of three times in a row must be part of some decalogue that is still unknown to us. A true source of wisdom. Thank you once again. Ah, as far as I’m concerned, I choose all three categories, maestro.

What have you gone to dig up... I've always really liked the cover; the album is a bit weak, it actually disappointed my expectations quite a bit. I rely on the memory and give it a 3.

It would now be worthwhile for someone, without tarnishing Dante's name, to write a few lines regarding this album. Perhaps someone who has listened to it and knows what it’s about. Lukin, could you give it a thought? We were talking about music, right?

Hi, Hal. I agree with your approach. But this album left me a bit surprised and somewhat uncertain, to the point that I gave up writing about it (and I was right to do so :)). It contains some inspired moments. But it doesn't fully convince me... A 4, a bit "forced," yet it earns it, if only for the "classic" vibe that never gets boring and runs through it from start to finish. @zzzzzzzzzzzzz: if you like it...

I’ve come back to reread you, Renzo Pin, now that I can hear the samples and after having shed my grey garb. And immediately I notice, after the pleasure of reading, the contradiction in your notes. At first, you tell us that the star is the MUSIC, trying to disregard your ā€œscribeā€ nature (which frankly, I find worthy of DeNota), and then you say, ā€œI don’t like music so much as a sound company, and there’s an abyssal difference.ā€ And these (apparent?) contradictions, of course, please me. I therefore look forward to reading more pages that use music as a pretext to provide us with lines capable of generating curiosity around sound, as well as allowing us to appreciate your writing. Mission accomplished excellently, in this case. For what it’s worth (something less than nothing), I’ll place it among the recommended reads - A salute, as I step away, to Ascanio, who also appeared, grey, between the lines. As often happens, the brevity of the excerpts allows for imagining many possible developments of the fragments. Who knows, I might have to contact you to find out how it all ends...

One of the disappointments of the year. I tried listening to it again today, after some time: boredom, very little inspiration, no moments that measure up to their great albums of the past. What a shame, I really appreciated this band. For once, I don't share the opinions of Kosmo, Ringo, and Pacino, which seems strange to me. Out of affection, I give it a 3, but it's stretched thin. - One note about the lyrics: nothing could be further, from my point of view, from the poetic imagery of Kaurismäki. But it's an issue related to our way of seeing things which, as I've noticed on other occasions, is very different.

But your favorite album? I wouldn't know how to choose between "Winter in America," "Pieces of a Man" from '71, and this one...
