Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Requiem

Yes, okay. But it’s not like opposing one rhetoric to another achieves much, dear Feuerbach. So I’ll quote, in dark, the refined (and I’m not joking) gray comment from Nick. Which I think says it all: "minkia santa stupenda questa pagina."

I would like to recommend, to those who are not familiar with it, a posthumous album that is quite unusual and showcases another side of this great artist's music. It’s titled "Vulnerable" (I believe it was released in '97) and features him accompanied by an orchestra, almost in a crooner style, serving as a sort of counterpart to "The Voice": at times, it’s out of this world. - Yes, the great black music continues to be somewhat unexplored in DeB. All the more reason to appreciate Fagen85's contributions.

Sfascia, I didn't think you liked tea. Let's have a virtual one today at 5 PM. Are you in? I'll bring some crumbly, heavenly hazelnut cookies. Bai bai.

Hello everyone, also from the little monkey on the cover (one of my favorites, not just monkeys, but covers) - @Trell: this is indeed not tea. It’s perhaps rum, of the finest quality, from an excellent vintage - A special greeting, I hope the too-kind DeCompari don’t mind, to Mr. Pacino. He knows how much I love spotting coincidences, and I must confess that last night I was tempted, not having seen him on DeBaser for a while, to contact him privately to invite him to read John’s page on the Requiem. Fate had it that he passed by here. I sincerely hope he had time to read that as well. And that he returns with some pages. I always enjoy his very much. Cheers.

"..the hybrid form between mathematical logic and instinctive drive.." "..a deliberately unfinished music.." I choose this condensed version and give it a 5. To this record, a robust 4.

IF ANYONE PASSING THROUGH HERE HASN'T DONE SO YET, I STRONGLY INVITE THEM TO GO READ JOHN OF PATMOS' PAGE DEDICATED TO MOZART'S REQUIEM. IT'S RIGHT BELOW THIS, ON THE HOME PAGE. (Curiously "God" right above the "Requiem") EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT INTERESTED IN CLASSICAL MUSIC, EVEN IF YOU HATE IT - To all the DePassanti, thank you for your attention. The record is a bit edgy, but I love it. Bye.

What happened? Whatever it is, I like it. I will read you again calmly; I'm in a hurry right now. I'm glad to see you like this. And to read a page like this in the Requiem, which I didn't expect. I love the March rain. Bye.

The samples will arrive, sooner or later...

Logic, I like your page. But the three pieces downloaded from the site don’t generate, when listened to, the same enthusiasm that you show... if I had to vote, I’d give them a solid 3 (which isn’t little) but nothing more...

@ kosmo: The menu is not complete, because I can't send the other samples I had prepared. But yes, I think it’s a beautiful creature too - @ Hal: well, if you get the chance, let me know what you think. - @ Wanderer: the territory of W.M. is vast and "varied" by definition: things are hybridized here in a "soft" way, and although it’s not excellent, it is one of the possible approaches. I believe that if you have time and desire, a little trip into that world could bring you some satisfaction :)
