Great album, (4.5) back in the day I was torn between this and Oh My Gawd! Now I lean towards this. It's been a while since I last listened to it, thanks for reminding me...

Good review, nice closing, which stirs some curiosity about a perfect stranger to me. Also because if I had to rely solely on the cover (one of the worst I've seen in recent times), I wouldn't have used this CD even to prop up a wobbly table...

I'm surprised you didn't mention Russ Meyer in relation to Valley of Dolls...

@ Psycho: here, the symbolic value of transcending is a nice topic @ Pacino: those qualities seem to belong to you.. @ Hal: I know little as well, this record has intrigued me, and the one recommended by Morningstars is an excellent start.. Thank you gentlemen and bai bai.

Your page and Blackcrow's are performing what feels like a miracle to me: generating interest in Elton J. It’s a 5-star miracle. Hi.

I found this from another review of an album by the same author. And I appreciate the page, even though I don’t know the album. So much so that, if I get the chance, I will overcome a certain reluctance to listen to this gentleman's music (he's a baronet too, isn't he?). Congratulations.

Senmayan, I mostly agree with you. In fact, I wrote "too bad that...". The fact remains that some things are not acceptable to me, in terms of tone and respect for those who do not think like the reviewer. For this reason, I avoided voting, since the quality of the text is there, but it's undermined by the content. But read the other two on E.John. And tell me if, faced with the same thing, reviews of an album by the same author, you don't notice a substantial difference. And I extend the same invitation to DBalavoine, precisely because I believe he is capable of producing quality pages without seeking effect, through lapses in style (which are also substantial) like those contained above.
