I believe I already told you that I am systematically searching for the records featured in the reviews that I liked. Among which many of yours. Right now, while I work, I'm listening to this. Thank you, Monsieur Hal.

You engaged, then, after that hesitation to my and Kosmo’s requests... - I won't elaborate (I haven't listened to the album, but I will) and I’ll copy and paste two of your phrases, one from the text and one from your comment: “Fagen, for his realistic attitude, attention to forms, and dedication to detail, could be compared to a Flemish painter” - “Brazil plays recklessly (and on the tourist front, concerning Ronaldo, I replace 'paracarro gordo')” - How can one not trust Socrates?
Cannonball Adderley Somethin' Else

Great album. A must-have - Grass's recent forays into jazz are proving to be a blend of history and descriptive joy. A few nights ago, I was listening to another album by Cannonball, featuring another giant alongside him: "Cannonball And Coltrane," released a year after this. Julian "Cannonball" Adderley, John Coltrane, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb. That one comes highly recommended as well.

Astonished to encounter a review that surpasses, in its colossal dimensions, even mine, which many (including myself, at times) already consider verbose. I will find the time to read it; I'm curious.

Your clarification is perfect. Homogenization seems to explain the concept very well, and it’s a bit what I felt I understood while reading about the album. It’s also true that there is a predominant mood. Your review is great, because why write another one, are you kidding? I will definitely listen to the first one, thank you.

These aren't even songs, Socrates... We can probably take out the maybe :)

The notice that opens the review was pushing me away. But since I'm curious, I opted for the non-musical meaning and I went in... Practically no, but I did listen to a bit (Helmet and Quicksand), even though today I'm not sure if I could handle it. Your page is understandable and enjoyable even for a layperson. And that's no small thing.

Yes, Socrates. I'm getting some “strange” records. For this, I would use a term that risks being misunderstood and might even sound annoying to some, but in my opinion, it’s quite fitting. Let’s say it’s a conceptual approach to the blues? To its history, to its nature? Well, we’ve (I’ve) said it... Bye.
