I see that you haven’t expressed your thoughts regarding the other suggestions, and I take that as silent agreement. Regarding the "classification" aspect, I’ll try to explain myself better, even if it seems clear from my previous post: it’s fine to consider it, like dozens of other albums across many other "genres," as groundbreaking. It wouldn’t even be that tedious to touch on the reasons, although it’s not necessary since it appears rather obvious. And even in terms of the graphic aspect, connections can be made with SOME productions of new wave, which from that perspective is quite fragmented. But the fact remains that if you write among the Degeneri: New wave, it’s fair to expect to read a review of an album that belongs to that period and that "movement." So please don’t take it as a note but as a clarification, thank you. But then, in the end, have you read that other one about Neu 2? They say it’s beautiful... :))
The Divine Comedy Victory For The Comic Muse

Well, I stopped by here after meeting you in the national football dispute at the foot of Mameli. The Divine C. have always seemed a bit "too much" to me (orchestrated, arranged, sometimes almost kitsch?), so I've never delved into them very much. After reading your review and the opinions of some esteemed DePassanti, it seems I was wrong, and I think I'll make amends. But may I offer a small tip? Down there (Mameli) you’re wasting time: I took a look at the latest comments and see that you’re moving forward. You won't get anywhere. Write some more reviews, and check out the many beautiful pages on Debaser. Starting with those of Socrates. All time better spent. And you'll thank me, trust me. Bye.

In the meantime, Carnefrisca, compliments on the nickname, it's among my favorites. Then a small suggestion, considering the good intentions you express: the other thing to do is to check that the album hasn't already been reviewed and, if that's the case, maybe post a comment on the existing review if you don't believe you have something significantly different to say, with a "duplicate." The other thing is that, even if you consider it "anticipating," that new wave among the genres seems a bit forced and misleading, don't you think? However, you started off with a pretty solid little record, so welcome to DeMondo and best wishes for the future.
Astor Piazzolla Tango: Zero Hour

Without a doubt, one of Piazzolla's essential albums to have, along with La Camorra, Tristesas de un Doble A, and Adios Nonino. As well as the albums with Mulligan and Burton. - Yes, Hal, it’s a Nonesuch. - I also suggest listening to "Luna" (I like it a lot) a live recording with the sextet recorded in Amsterdam in '89 and released in '96, I believe, by Emisphere. I’m not familiar with the live recording reviewed by Grass, which I just noticed now.

I pay a proper tribute to a very evocative name. Poetry and metaphor coexist and "melt" into such a title rich in suggestions. Concerning the album, I confess an ignorance from which, at this moment and despite the enthusiasm of the skilled reviewer, I do not wish to rid myself.

Mysteries of an unknown world. (maybe some expert on the staff can respond to you) Anyway, I trust it regardless. I really want an album like the one you describe. Bai bai.

"..how have you been all this time?" Given the pantagruelic menu, I had already started to eat (the words, at least)

Wow, where have I been all this time?
Wow, and who is this guy? Just the look makes me almost infatuated, your description is very tempting. And also quite amusing, goodness, Socrates. Even without any deck chair, I immediately grab some attention.

@ Stronko: pop, in a broad sense. As mentioned in the text. When it comes to Bodily, I would avoid a competition; usually, you compare like things, and these, reading Francesco (remember him?) or Gab or Giorgio, are not alike - @ Hal: I think I've got a bit of a sense of your tastes, and I believe this doesn’t fit in. P.S. my 4 is because 3 seemed too low... - @ Ringostarfish. hi, Ringo, good to see you again! Well, actually I'm a couple of steps back, since I don't know the others. In truth, as I mentioned some time ago to Socrates, I think, in this year of DeBaser, after years of "distance" from music I've reactivated many perceptual channels and sometimes I suffer from auditory compulsion (?)- At this point, even Around the House is on the listening list. - @ Professore, I urge you to follow Gab and Giorgio's advice as well. I think I resemble that other one, from Dickensian memory :)- @ A.C.: the pleasure is all mine, you disappeared for a while... We'll catch up soon if you like, as soon as I come out of apnea. For now, a hug from the frayed spool.
