Very interesting your perspective, Alfo. Reflecting on your statement, I would say that "..giving so much importance to the material condition of the two.." is not a flaw in the viewer's reading, but a concrete fact provided by the director: if there were no plausible "..neo-Marxist vision," why, as you yourself note, introduce and "emphasize" such an element? In this sense, the intent, which you describe very well later on the page (..today's maladies root themselves in the most unsuspected everyday life, they nest and operate slowly on the senses..) is constantly and inextricably intertwined, to the point of becoming indistinguishable, with the "class struggle"; therefore, the interpretation is not reductive but, probably, it is an additional factor of ambiguity from an author who "sows signs" but seems, thank goodness, to want to refrain from the "moral of the story" (dark).

Ghemison, you have to feel it, the 1st of Us3: together with the 1st of Guru Jazzmatazz marked a crucial moment in the intersection between "new sounds" and jazz (of course, I prefer the phenomenal album by Guru, but I also consumed a lot of Us3)- P.S. it doesn’t matter a damn, but I’m listening to an electronic album from '94, Beaumont Hannant: "Texturology". If you don’t know it, get it; despite the years (and the sounds), it still holds up very well.

Never loved too much, although undoubtedly, in those years, thanks to a very defined personality, they managed to carve out a space for themselves with a style and a sound that were original and instantly recognizable. For me, these are the ratings (probably slightly adjustable if I felt like re-listening) for their albums that I have: Raven: 4.5 - Rattus Norvegicus: 4 - Black And White: 3.5/4 - The review is well-crafted, focused, and pleasant, congratulations.

Hi, Ghem. I haven't listened to it in ages, but 4 is fine. - For Daniloquai: well, if you haven’t heard it, why are you voting for it? And anyway, no: Galliano, and this album, don’t resemble Jamiroquai at all, thank goodness. - P.S. the link in the box is incorrect, it leads to Richard Galliano, a bandoneon player (take advantage of it, he’s great!)

Well, it’s a good album, very polished and well-produced, a bit of a softie, but better than some of his "recent" stuff I've heard. Let’s say a 3.5. But I'm sure, like Kosmo, that it wouldn’t make it into a hypothetical top ten. - Paloz, you still have time to check out a title on the homepage that, in its "field," for me goes straight into the top ten of 2007: the latest by Vic Chesnutt. For that one, I rounded up to a generous 4.5. Give it a listen, maybe your "ranking" will also be affected :))

It's nice to occasionally come across a page by Fusillo. I don't have anything about the bad boy, so I'll start from here.

Ah yes, ZiOn? Well, I have the 2nd one, "Fade Out." So let me try to get this one, which I confused with the third, reading 1990... But I believe Supersoul was talking about a live show he attended.

For me, it easily reaches a 3. It's very simple, but it has a coherence of sound and it's not trivial. Considering the young age of the two, it's a nice debut overall.
