Giorgio Moroder From Here To Eternity

A little gem of electro-dance, I agree with Zaione about Giorgino's talents, who in his own way has made an era both behind and in front of the scenes. Antonio, I would have loved to see you in the step of the peperonata, but damn it, you've renounced your past with that harsh 1. You're the usual curt'e mmane.
Blake Edwards Hollywood Party

Unintentionally, he takes the ring road through a series of treacherous alleys, skimming over serious and burdensome themes. Those moments are the worst and take the rhythm away from the film, which, by the way, doesn't make me laugh out loud. In a way, Ajeje is right (though I provoke him: you speak highly of him saying he's one of the greatest comedians and you throw out the usual 3? Is it that you discriminate against comedians themselves?): I, too, laugh more with The Simpsons. This is a visual comedy that isn't immediate, not entirely "modern."
Stanley Kubrick Full Metal Jacket
Voto:
The one by Kubrick that I love the most. Other chapters have left me more perplexed: "2001", "A Clockwork Orange", "Eyes Wide Shut", "Lolita" to name a few, I find them great, but here and there weak. This one is to be enjoyed from start to finish, Stanley spends less time in silences and focuses on the events. A correct review, but in my opinion, it’s always a flaw to recount the entire plot: those who don't know risk ruining the surprise.
Bernardo Bertolucci Ultimo tango a Parigi

I read pretazzo's comment and I disagree: "like you, never" isn't that bad! Be careful, pretà, the film, as much as it seems to be pro-communist, is in some ways against that culture! The same Muccino (Gabriele in this case) is beholden to a certain Berlusconi culture (as also stated by Morandini), but many other paths open up at this point... in any case, I hope you didn't consider him one of the worst Italians for his supposed "communist leanings." Acceptable.
Woody Allen Manhattan
Voto:
Allen's masterpiece. Two observations: you could have mentioned the ending without revealing its essence, simply stating that it is one of the greatest in the history of cinema, on par with the beginning, still with Gershwin. Furthermore, I don't agree that Zelig is on the same level. Nice, but not as impactful as this.

I am truly impressed by the almost overwhelming negative opinion on this film, which, let’s be clear, is certainly not mediocre, but definitely has more than one weak point. Happypippo hits the nail on the head, in my opinion, regarding Schneider, who is truly embarrassing, while he exaggerates a bit with Brando, who is in a state of grace here. The film is fundamentally Marlon, in his inability to love and to redeem himself. The rest, aside from Gato Barbieri, is negligible, and the very construction of the work is pretentious and arrogant. 4 stars as a token of appreciation, to say that it’s a watchable film but not deserving of the washed-out praise packaged by 9 out of 10 critics.

Stop everyone, "Titanic" is a good movie. Some even praise it to the skies (like Morandini); that's too much grace: the truth is that it's a solid work, dense, overall destined to "stay". It doesn't deserve, of course, any of its Oscars, except for the special effects, but I'll give it a score of 7/10, just to say. About the actors: ordinary and handsome Di Caprio, more appreciated in other performances like the mentioned Gangs of New York and Catch Me If You Can, and the stunning and intergalactic Kate Winslet, who rightfully tops my personal top ten of the most beautiful women on the planet. And that's enough, along with a series of commendable acting skills (certainly not less than an overhyped and overrated diva like Roberts). The review reflects the teen generation that experienced this film in the second half of the '90s, with all its ups and downs: Leo's pretty boy face, certainly the fatalism of a carnival show, Celine Dion. 3.5.
David Lynch Inland Empire

A sacred opinion as well, probably, and antithetical. One criticism: you reveal too much about the plot, you ruin the surprise.

I can't read all the comments, but I'm quite curious to see the film. Easy's analysis seems sincere, especially considering that he liked Mulholland, so it would be desirable to entertain the hypothesis that Lynch might have indulged in delusions of grandeur, relying on the good reception of his latest effort. It's true that caz gave it a 1, so it has to be watched; it's probably of quality.
