Steve Vai Flexable
Voto:
Me! I want to play! So. In Heaven, people like: Ian Williams (Don Caballero), John McLaughlin (with Miles and Mahavishnu), Trey Anastasio (Phish), Kid Congo Powers (Nick Cave, Gun Club, Cramps), Peter Green, Roy "the best" Montgomery, Duane Allman, Marc Ribot (Tom Waits).
In Purgatory, people like: Allan Holdsworth, Santana, David Gilmour, Steve Vai.
Those I really don't like: Ritchie Blackmore, Brian May, Satriani, Mark Knopfler, Van Halen, Malmsteen, Richie Sambora, anyone who has played for Vasco and Ligabue, and all the fast ones by chance and the neoclassical crowd.

Heron is worth it. It’s not as powerful as Day in the stark and it doesn’t have the melancholy of Burning circle (Drifting aside), but if you like those, this is a must-have. More ambient, but here it was still the Lycia of the major phase, which is the one I know since I have from Ionia to this and they are all valid or much more than valid records. I don't know Estrella, but it seems I'm not losing much. A rather crazy association of ideas, this album reminds me of certain frozen atmospheres (indeed) of Garbarek.

Great album, for me a bit inferior compared to Ortodossia, Affinità, and Live in Punkow.

I love Lycia, but it's not for everyone. The biggest flaw in their music is those incredibly clichéd electronic drumbeats, tum-pa tum-pa, always the same or almost. Another flaw in their music is that their albums lack variety. The strengths lie in those powerful gothic and romantic atmospheres; Van Portfleet is the perfect musical equivalent of Friedrich's painting, neither more nor less, and I believe this conveys the essence of their music better than many arguments, and you either love it or hate it. However, this is not their best album, even if there are beautiful tracks (especially Drifting). I prefer Burning Circle and A Day in the Stark Corner. You could have really done more, though.

oh my god, it was a consideration, reading an interview like that helps to understand the character and I recommend it to everyone. I didn't have many doubts, knowing the music, but reading it is even worse. I found another one where he said he had tried his hand at reggae. Again, I want more.

Holy Madonna, I didn’t know about that interview…he’s lobotomized, there’s no other explanation. Unless they interviewed him at four years old. My God, what a barrage of insane nonsense. One leads to another, like cherries. I knew he was a complete fool, but I didn’t think he could reach such heights of mental nothingness.
Don Caballero For Respect

but I would say definitely not imho. Of course, if you tell me about some band that plays with more intelligence than the Don, I’d be more than happy.

Odra, don't be snobby; when it comes to tea and biscuits and decomposed cheese, there's no contest. Rotten cheese is for connoisseurs. Of course, it's not exactly Philadelphia light, and by 5 PM, there's a chance it might feel a bit heavy.

true, the title is pure poetry.
Don Caballero For Respect
Voto:
the least conceptual, the most powerful. The opening of For respect pure pleasure. In the group, only unrestrained praises galore :) "The best instrumental noise group in the world": absolutely agree.
