The Clash The Clash

There are still a few missing.. Give 'em Enough Rope, (Super) Black Market Clash, that little gem of Cut The Crap... but it's better if next time before I start writing I consult with Joe Strummer.. I also prefer the American edition anyway. The Suicide Mario are great! In Beatles terms, this is a A Hard Day's Night, London Calling will be a Sgt. Pepper (and Sandinista a White Album?)

Joe, I'm sorry, but you know I've prepared that review too??? I must have sent it a few hours after you, I think it will arrive tomorrow.. well, better to be safe! I really like yours, and anyway it's not exactly the same as mine (I focused less on the individual pieces), so they could actually be complementary. There’s really something to be said for a "great choice"! And also, look, it was you with that magnificent review of London Calling who awakened my Strummerian past... kisses.
Edoardo Bennato Sono solo canzonette
Voto:
Looking back, one of Bennato's best albums, even if it’s far from the rustic splendor of the records from the '70s. Enea, you’ve been competent; it’s not always possible to send the whole debe...bravo into ecstasy.
Eric Clapton Unplugged
Voto:
Jimmy, I meant with the story of relative/absolute that the unplugged was for Nirvana their absolutely best official live performance recorded on disk, it was the moment when they were most valued. Eric's was the best live performance in recent years, but not his best "overall." That is, taken on its own, at that specific time it has one value, in relation to the rest it has another... In this sense.
Miles Davis Doo-Bop

I completely agree with what Grasshopper said, words taken right out of my mouth. I still liked the choice, more original than the usual punisher ones (see the predictable red crosses à la Bennato-Simply Red-Vasco, etc.).

Well, if we have to be precise, the most successful unplugged - in my humble opinion - is undoubtedly that of Nirvana. This is a relative 5 (Tiziano Ferro docet), the absolute 5.
Siouxsie & the Banshees The Scream
Voto:
great choice, it's the album by siouxie that I'm most attached to, perhaps alongside kaleidoscope and something by Hayena... excellent debut, considering that siouxie had emerged as one of the many groupies of the Pistols....
Scritti Politti Songs To Remember
Voto:
tinting the air pink with Songs To Remember...and I too start to fantasize about missed opportunities or paradoxical situations, phone calls at the most unusual moments, when everyone in the city has been sleeping for hours...

a Clapton in a state of grace, a marvel that gains value over the years. Well done, Jim!
