Hey, what a gem. Yes, the live performances, ok... but for me, this is the best in the studio, beautiful and intense. Heartbreaking. And the perfect reception. Magnificent introduction, that alone was worth it. Well done, really well done.
The Beach Boys Pet Sounds

your words shine, alongside the eternal melodies of the worthy rival of rubber soul (which loses too much in comparison). Enchanting and perfect. Is there anything else to say? Once I worked in a laundromat for ten days, I played pet sounds over the speakers, and the old ladies, the bachelors, all changed their expressions, there was no need to recognize anything. I remember when a girl's panties got caught in the wheel and I went there to extract them upside down with the instrumental piece that is precisely called pet sounds.

It would be nice to recreate a debate... but we might be asking too much. In my opinion, there wasn't such a creative gap between the two groups. But Robert Palmer was really putting in the effort. I totally agree with Stay Hungry by Twisted Sister, with the most beautiful cover in the world.
Bruce Springsteen The River

one of my two favorites by Bruce (the other hasn’t been reviewed yet, if I get the chance one day..). But while I feel safe with the album (what emotions for me too..), I wanted to see how massimo fared with this monument. Splendidly. I can imagine the thrill of the journey back to Italy with Bruce looking up at you from the vinyl.. the achievement of an artistic peak.

beautiful fluff... well done, well done let, this was needed, it was necessary. And I liked your enthusiasm.

forgive me, it's already the second one in a row.. I also sent a review of this album two days ago... I must have telepathy with some of you... great review bluAstro! and you were much more concise than me... well done!

Copernicus, if I contributed to the purchase, I am flattered! Of course, listening to this, and then reflecting on the current situation of black America, is a bit disheartening... At least in rock, there has been more continuity; there has been an attempt to recover (perhaps with all the failures that come with it) the sound of the ancestors. Here, it seems that African Americans have almost entirely forgotten their roots, where they come from and what they come from. It's either hip-hop or, at most, neo-soul, and even then, one must be thankful. But you can count on your fingers those who are trying to update funk.

I return here after a long time, like a warm place where nothing is hidden, where emotion and feeling govern us, composing instruments of affectionate pleasure that are so difficult to relinquish once we have discovered them. This is a review to read and re-read with a cool head, each time revealing a new nuance, understanding a sentence we had overlooked, distracted by the daily grind, stunned by the overexposure to words, often far less expressive than in this glorious page. Glorious because everything comes together, record and review, in a heartfelt memory that honors us to share.

Vio doesn’t need to give him 5 afterwards to avoid demoralizing him. He’s a sharp guy and knows his stuff, and that's exactly why I have the wonderful feeling of relating to him as if he were my peer. I already appreciate him for what he has written, for what he is writing; if later I tell him that I didn’t like something, he will know how to draw his own conclusions from it. Vio, keep trying! The girl from the song "Buonanotte Fiorellino" was in a relationship with the prince at that time, she’s a Roman lady who now lives in the countryside, in southern Tuscany (I can’t say any more than that) and her last name is Fiore. But just make do, dear.

You've identified all three beads I was talking about... maybe we should add "Tu che mi entri dentro il cuore" by Morandi, and... I admit I used to get emotional over "Felicità"... how do we take it now?
