IMHO, this is the least interesting of the GLB albums; Mighty Joe Moon remains their best work for me and one of the most important albums of the '90s. @Currahee: I remember Buffalondon live, especially for the devastating version of Shining Hour that started that EP.

Hi Blecht, I also recommend that you start with the album I pointed out to Kosmo! As for Bazan's drug use, I wouldn't know, but his religious/alcohol crisis has definitely been widely discussed, especially across the ocean. I've sent you an email. Prooot!
