Jaga Jazzist What We Must
Voto:
Ah, I almost forgot: I only know Jaga Jazzist by hearsay, but I was able to listen to the beautiful album by Lars Hornveth (I believe he is the leader of this group), who has used the pseudonym Pooka for this solo project. It’s an album I recommend; as soon as I can, I’ll review it. Greetings to Hal and to anyone passing through here.

a truly heartfelt and well-written review. I’ve only been on Debaser for a short time, but this is already one of the best I've come across. I’m not familiar with the album, so I can’t comment on it; but you’ve definitely sparked my desire to listen to it. Could you include some samples?

still oasis...but why don't you comment on the reviews already made?
Bugo Golia & Melchiorre

For the previous comment: the phone is dead, it can be found on Bugo's very first CD, "La prima gratta," released in 2000 for Snowdonia, I believe.

I played this CD so much when it came out that I've practically worn it out, and in hindsight, I think it can be seen as a missed opportunity. If they had stuck to just one album, maybe we would be here discussing one of the most important albums of the last 15 years. If the group had had a strong personality like Corgan's... but history (and music history too) isn't made with "if" and "but." Essentially, it's a beautiful album, but it's remembered more for some tracks than for the work as a whole. Good review.

Of the album, I only know the beautiful "hard to find," an atmospheric groove like we haven't heard in years. Beautiful and spot-on the review. Hi to everyone stopping by here.
Marvin Gaye What's Going On

great review; I only know the title track of this album, I think I’ll delve deeper into Marvin sooner or later...

A rather inaccurate review: the comparisons made by Phabrix have little to do with the ToDs. As for this album, it's a definite step back from sources tags & codes. Too bad! A greeting to all the de-baseriani.

Hello everyone. Very imaginative review; maybe I'm too used to reviews that dissect every track. Nevertheless, it's easy to read, well done kosmogabri. As for the album, I listened to it and did not like it at all. Best regards to all the debaserians!

I read the review and the interesting debate that followed. I believe that Francis is perfectly free to say that JB disgusts him (de gustibus, etc.), as long as he argues his point more effectively: the comparisons with Aerosmith, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Joe Cocker (to limit ourselves to just these) have little or nothing to do with it. What I know is that this album came out 11 years ago and is still being talked about (and positively, in most cases).
Best wishes to everyone!
