truly beautiful is also the unplugged concert for MTV Europe from the same period: Bjork's songs arranged for crystal glasses, buddhist bells, Indian percussion (Talvin Singh was there) and whatever else you can think of. my favorite from this album is venus as a boy.

As for the Kinks, I’ve never had the opportunity. I know them by hearsay, and I would give you imprecise information about them.

for Greg 89: for the Sonics, I recommend Here are the Sonics, just in case you haven't already picked it up. Songs like Do you love me, Psycho, The Witch, there are bands that would sell their mothers just to write them. And we're talking about stuff from 40 years ago! As for Nuggets: it's a compilation (the first edition is from 1972, I believe) of the best of American garage, curated by Lenny Kaye (who later became Patti Smith's guitarist, if I remember correctly). It was reissued by Rhino 6/7 years ago, in a box of 4 CDs, and you'll find Cuordibue, the Sonics, the 13th Floor Elevators, and many many others (besides the Monks reviewed here). If you go on Google and type Nuggets Lenny Kaye, you should find several sites selling it, unfortunately at mortgage prices (at least for me): almost 60 dollars on cd universe! Best regards and I hope I've been helpful.

Nice review, even though I don’t really hear much Bugo in Simone Cristicchi. Dischello is smarter than he seems (even though in Italy it takes very little to be so).

But how did the concerts go? I read about Barman being as pleasant as a handful of sand in your underwear, is that true? Nice interview, greetings to everyone.

the last song is not Dixie Drug Store but You just have to be crazy, if I remember correctly. anyway, it's a great album, one of my favorites. the next one Mighty Joe Moon is even better.
