Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks

For Little Lord: I don't understand shit about music, but I'd gladly do without receiving notifications every time you post absurdities like this: "If you ask my mother, who listens to Pooh and Gianni Morandi, who Yes are, she, even without knowing music, will answer 'oh yes, that English band with the singer who sang with that little voice...'. If you ask my mother who the Jesus Lizard and the Minutemen are, she might guess 'are those brands of cigarettes?'. Do you understand what it means to make history?"

instead this review is really well written. I know that in one piece they even sampled Fugazi...

Is the music over in '77? And what about me, born in 1975, what am I supposed to do?

...And You Will Know Us by the Trail Of Dead So Divided

I've been listening to it for a couple of weeks now, and I can only agree with what you write. It can't even be considered a disappointment, given that the controversial Worlds Apart – overarranged and pompous – promised nothing good. Here, even the good ideas from the previous album are missing (which, paradoxically, would need to be reassessed at this point). The usual instrumental intro, the usual energetic track following it (Stand in Silence, in this case)... not much to say about the tracks that follow. Back in the days of Source Codes and Tags, it was said that it was up to Trail of Dead to save rock: if that's still the case, we're in pretty bad shape.

excellent resurgence for one of the cult objects of the '90s. Back then it was talked about as the most European of American bands.

And with this, 3.5 for me. Regards!

Well-written review as usual, although I completely disagree with the analysis made by Grasshopper. A poor album in terms of ideas, as many pointed out back then, Sting struggled significantly - due to a lack of inspiration - to put this album together.
