Rereading the post above, I have to apologize to the fans of the genre that Matteo likes; I unfairly lumped them all together, and that is not right. Both Matteo and the others I've spoken to are not illiterate; let's just say that the other person, the one who signs as novella satanica etc., is so ignorant that it creates quite a bit of embarrassment even for them.

Maybe he would do better to learn something from Matteo, but perhaps he doesn’t even read the reviews that, theoretically, would have been written just for him... but you really can't get blood from a turnip.

Kosmo, unfortunately, telling him this, that idiot continues to think he’s a superhero. Since we all know who he is, the only real thing left for us to do is ignore him. I really want to see how many reviews he’ll keep writing considering that his genre’s fans are almost all illiterate.... it was him who declared that he wants to “throw us out” of his reviews, what he hasn’t understood yet is that he has degraded himself so much that no one wants to talk to him anymore. Neither for good nor for bad, and it is known that indifference kills.

But the cover really sucks, come on... the dwarves did well; closing the site for those stupid provocateurs who sell CDs just for their idiotic covers would have been the final straw... besides, nobody would have forgiven you for it, and that would have been a real negative karma that who knows how many years of bad luck it would have brought you... better this way.

Matteo, do you want to know what I think? Maybe not, but I'm telling you anyway. You might get mad, perhaps, but deep down you have a blast and you would be really, really upset if no one commented on your reviews anymore... Besides, you've already got 23 of them! Wow...

In my opinion, Matteo will never be able to be as bad as he wants to make believe, but it's also true that in his genre (death brutal metal band brutal) he’s the only one you can actually talk to. He gets a bit angry and sometimes swears, but he has never sunk so low as to make one fear an irretrievable irrecoverability... aside from the jokes! Matteo, do you only listen to this music or are you also interested in other things? I get that this is what you like, but is there really nothing else that interests you? Not everyone is named Laura Pausini or Christopher Cross; after all, the musical world is extremely varied... :?

"Filtered in an absurd way, it sounds like a real lament of a tortured pig! Too monotonous for the entire duration of the album!" Matteo, just for this sentence you deserve a 5!!!!

Dear South, I completely agree with you! Better the reviews that spark discussions; we discover a ton of things, rather than the sappy "you did well" etc., which really mean: 'this stuff doesn’t get my blood pumping, I don’t even know what you’re talking about, but I acknowledge you write well. I promise to thoroughly argue my points! ;)

Dear ngw, I think that emotions are always subjective, just like feelings, but empathy is a useful exercise to try to "feel" what the other wants to communicate through their words and then translate them into something familiar to us and, likely, similar. But this is the limit of language; no matter how many shared vocabularies we can use and conventions accept, the barrier of one's own "meanings" and "signifiers" remains. Writing is not easy, and it is impossible to be objective when things are done out of passion, and I believe that this is the real reason why a review can feel "useless" (or rather "disuseful") to everyone. I am increasingly convinced that this site is primarily a game, with the possibility of exchanging opinions not only about music, with the only rule being to adhere to good taste even in profanity (although for some it is impossible, and they transcend to the point of becoming disgusting, but you know how it is; you can't squeeze blood from a turnip). :) A tiny and affectionate "tiè" to you too! :)
