Debut for one of the most disgusting and revolting bands on earth.
More than a sufficient work as a start, but not as extreme and "gore" as one might expect from the cover and artwork. It’s unfortunate, in my opinion, to see a band that focuses heavily on its image without delivering musically.
This is indeed what happens with our Waco Jesus. "The Destruction of Commercial Scum" overall is a decent album, but there's still a lot to improve.
As per the script for a brutal-grind-gore band, guitars are presented with low tones and disgustingly distorted to the brink of chaos. The drums, however, lack power and at some points even seem "sluggish." One thing to appreciate is the vocal parts, which, besides being a good feature of the group, are well arranged throughout the entire CD.
Recommended for lovers of the extreme and the filthy!
Whether you love them or hate them, Waco Jesus will surely keep showing you women who eat shit. Until next time...

The production... excellent in being clean and clear, perfect in making each instrument distinguishable.
Together they have given rise to very valid bands... brazen, twisted, ironic, dirty, and perverse works.
