I think Cappio meant bending by a quarter tone (which exists, even just in the transition to bending by an eighth or half a tone...) but it’s practically imperceptible (at least on the guitar... so much so that it’s not even noted...)

I’m sorry but I found it terrible... apart from the usual hyperboles (best rhythm section the Pearl Jam? Superb and phenomenal McCready?! The PJs have a superb singer and Gossard who writes great songs... the others are almost background, including Cameron, who showed he’s a fantastic drummer in Soundgarden), it’s full of spelling mistakes (come on, what does it cost to read it once before sending the review) and you say nothing about the sound played by the early bands...

Millions of individuals fought in a conflict without probably knowing why, driven by (ephemeral) ideals that had nothing to do with the causes of the conflict... it doesn’t seem to me that anyone fired on the Red Army; as I’ve already said, they were just men sent to die! If you have something to say, then say it; don’t (poorly) conceal what’s on your mind… I still think that the only historical legacy worth preserving is the memory of the victims… as for the rest, certain memories and their ridiculous ideologies/dichotomies should remain underground!
