@caz: haha.. I think you're absolutely right! Nelson definitely won the award for the fattest.. and it wasn't an easy win, because quite a few heavyweights have been up on that stage @lukin: for sure the stage had to be reinforced :-D

Goo Goo Dolls Dizzy Up the Girl

I am really very, very attached to this album. Among the songs, I would also mention "Black Balloon." I have seen the Goo Goo Dolls live twice: at an HJF, where they didn't make a great impression, playing really poorly, and at the Vox in Nonantola, where they were actually good. Technically always a bit "messy," but I think that's a characteristic that is part of their style…and it fits perfectly. John Rzeznik is definitely the soul of the group, besides... um... I'll just tell you that at the Vox, a girl managed to get on stage at the end of the concert and jumped on his back like a little backpack; she had gone crazy, and two security staff had to intervene to pry her off him (I swear it wasn't me!) :-)))

Bugo is really crazy! I met him last year at one of his concerts in Ferrara, and while talking to him (I wanted an autograph) I even said to his face, "Bugo, you are really out there!" A true character... too bad his autograph was taken from me by force...
