Ah, logically, if they make a DVD of the Area, a ninety-page review will be triggered. At least ninety.

Oh, guys, it's undeniable that the review sucks since it took me just 5 minutes to throw it together, but this isn't a vent. Now, don't take me for someone who gets mad when they cover the bands they love and blah blah blah. The point is that thanks to this movie, the Area got a bit of publicity, so I threw this out there because in the other one I did (my first review) it was hardly mentioned and that's not fair. The “Vaffanculo” isn’t a hateful gesture, it’s a “just let it go” kind of thing. No, really, it would bother me to be seen as “the one who gets angry”; this was just nonsense meant to be funny, there’s little to vent about, in fact, WELCOME to these kinds of movies that manage to resurrect beautiful forgotten things. Even Kill Bill is a PIECE OF SHIT, but thanks to Kill Bill many people rediscovered the old films of Sonny Chiba... Kill Bill makes me sick, but I hope they make more, with commercial crap they bring to light the beauties of the underground. Maybe thanks to this nonsense, the Area can make a tiny little profit from sales, and maybe because of this, they will finally create a DVD. If they make an Area DVD, I will kiss Agnelli on the mouth with my tongue. Besides the nonsense, I send Agnelli to hell with friendship too, because if he wanted to redo the Area, it means he knows them and respects them, so just for that, I appreciate him. If they do an Area DVD, then I’ll send him holiday greetings every year, to Agnelli. You take me too seriously; if I need to vent, I go to Milan and jump on zzzzzzzzz, I don't write reviews :))))) /// Luk, go to Zappa's review and give it your five stars. Franco will be happy.

Ah, when I say "the thousand people who orbited around the Area," I mean the 100,000 musicians they called; the credits of Maledetti are longer than the lyrics because of all the people who played on it :D

I hadn't read Rasputin's comment. You're right, but keep in mind that Event feels like crap, Are(a)zione is the best Italian live show ever, and it feels good too; it's just that for me it's almost taken for granted that a band with great musicians does better live. All the great bands sounded twice as good live; it's kind of an unspoken truth. I agree with you that Stratos didn't count for much, but you're wrong about Giulio. Sure, he wrote some stuff too, but the Areas have Fariselli/Tofani as their foundation; those two really were the bosses. The other thousand people who orbited around the Areas were all extremely talented, but the ideas, those belong to PP inc. Patrizio & Paolo... and you know it ;) / Oh, to clarify, Giulio is one of the best drummers I've ever heard. In Italy, for me, he comes right after Furio Chirico from Arti & Mestieri. / Poddosky, buy the Areas.

Giov, how is it possible that your father (a saintly man) puts the Area on the homepage of his website and you rate Maledetti a 4? Giov, you should follow your dad more ;) ;Kappa, the Area made it to Germany. Yes. in '89, when they reprinted the CDs, how sad. In fact, compared to a German record, it loses quite a few points. zzzzz, my love, I barely saw the film, I didn't even remember it was called Radio Alice, I was too busy thinking about you, I didn't dismiss Radio Alice at all, I just didn't recall how it worked.
