I’ll send them to you at the next kappa... if the mail gets a move on, you should get something today ;) Anyway, Sleep leans more toward doooom than anything else (okay, stoner-doom, but it’s still dooooom, right?). Here you can hear the influence in terms of sound setup and ambiance, but Sleep, being dooooom, are obviously slower and more drawn out. Hal, I've got tons of this stuff, I never suggested it because it’s a bit particular. I’ll send you some extremes of the genre, from the “most rock” to the “most drugs” :D / Anyway, of course, I can’t just listen to this, but if I’m in the mood for rock, 95% of the time I play this rather than the usual overplayed "pure rock." Then it’s logical, jazz, electronic, rap... blah blah blah, if I want to listen to U2... then long live Stooooner :D

This album is heavily inspired by my beloved Sleep, whose first album is called Holy Mountain, and the first song Dragonaut. They also inspired Dragonauta... and many others. Follow The Smoke... Jerusalem... Follow... Follow The Smoke... // Tell the truth, Hal, when you read stoner rock did you think it was something special, and instead it’s just rock, but WAY WAY COOLER. LIKE A LOT A LOT COOLER.
